After having a detailed talk and a argument with Kinze and the rest, we finally managed to convince her to take in the path laid for her, as well as the others, she hasn't happy about it, but what choice do we have?
The roads we take often lead to disastrous deaths, but the thrill of surviving in it? that's where the fun lies, or do I need to read a guideline from WIC Company for that?
"Okay, here we ago again, cover me from behind, keep Kinze in centre." I said.
"Yeah, we heard ya, you don't need to repeat it one more time, just keep going." replied Dwayne and we kept going in, without a splint of talk, or a whispering due of anger.
Our focus was held on our aims, except for Kinze who seem pretty shaken up by what she's about to face, but us being there, lifted her spirits up, a bit.
"Play with me, come.. play with me.. (giggling sounds echoing)" whispered across the halls. "Don't really feel like playing, how about another time?" asked Dwayne.
"Shut up." replied Tulio while we ventured down the stairs that resided within the maze. Soon, the light that guided us turn hazed away into a thick of blackness, no light was soon to be dawned over us, we were all afraid, but not blind, thanks to the attached torches we carry with our guns.
"Come.. come.. COME! Play with me! PLAY WITH ME!" grouched a monstrous voice coming in from the celling, before we could look above, a sprand of hair came rustling down the celling, laying completely over Kinze which it tried to drag it with her.
"No! help, please!" cried Kinze to which I put away my gun and raced on to grab her as hard as I could.
"Come on, give me some help!" I yelled, but before they could assist, the thick strand of hair pulled her away like a fishing net that caught a fish, dragging me down with them, like bait, maybe not.
"No! Tokyo! Fire at it now!" yelled Tulio who opened fire, reining down on the hair strand while it dragged me and Kinze away towards the darkened structure within seconds, but before the hair was sucked into my mouth, I released up my hand with Kinze and lit up a flare in spare moments, as I was being dragged further away from my colleagues, I plunged the flare it deep across its hair, and like flesh being burned, the b***h screamed in b***h, or cried?
Honestly I can't tell the difference, but it let me go at once to which I dropped, but where? I couldn't no since it was dark and not a single sound or light to be seen or heard of.
"Tokyo! Tokyo! Kinze!" yelled Tulio only to get shut up by Dwayne once he replied. "Too late for that now, we started this out, and now we lost two at once, what a great way to go." said Dwayne.
"So you keep saying, if you can quit complaining and do some actual work, maybe we can work this out, instead of being surrounded by trouble." said Tulio when Dwayne gets himself tempered with a annoyance urge to punch his face, but his attention diverts away when he sees the doll Kinze mentioned of again, this time staying at the distance behind where I left my gun.
"Tulio! look!" yelled Dwayne with a push to which Tulio too turns towards the doll, who now goes onward to grab my gun and grins upon them, like a predator that caught two preys on sight.
"Fire at it, fire at now!" yelled Dwayne to which Tulio sets off his firing at the doll until he runs out of bullet, but too bad it doesn't stop a s**t as the doll looks upon them angrily with a gun on his hand. This is getting messier by the minute, why did I bother to do this in the first place? all because of some stupid money contract from WIC Company, now all of our lives are on the line.
"s**t! it's a ghost, what were you thinking?" asked Dwayne. "You told me to fire!" yelled Tulio while they look upon the doll in complete fair, for a minute, they did feel like being as a prey, but the doll had only one gun, didn't it?
"It doesn't know how to fire right?" asked Dwayne. "Who cares! come on!" yelled Tulio grabbing Dwayne's hands as he runs away for this life when Dwayne once again, shared a look towards the doll, only to see it pulling the safety trigger away like a pro.
"Oh s**t, it does! it does!" screamed Dwayne who picked up the pacing, grabbing Tulio with him as well while they run into the unknown, hmm, if only there was a song written to it?
As Darkness and complete warp covers of hair binds Kinze within, she feels lost, confused, Ans more often, breathless while being dragged away into her death.
For a second, she almost passes her life away, thinking it would be the best time to set aside her records once and for all, but a rage of angered mind inserted itself into her, and phoenix rising from it's dead egg, she rose back, upto the point where she was relived by the hair to which she was dropped onto the floor, just like me, only that it wasn't dark, but contained a lamplight that wailed further away enough to see her distance.
"Aww.. ouch.. that.. hurt." mourned Kinze when the laughter of the doll was heard to her so close, she immediately woke up with a rush.
"Wh..h....?" asked Kinze around as she got up, attempting to prepare herself for a fight, but the laughter continues all around her so much, she couldn't even pinpoint to see where it is all coming from.
"I know you're out there! and I'm not afraid of you! I may be alone, but I'm not afraid! you can't say the same, do you? you're afraid, you come out and face me if you are not, stop sticking into the shadows and face me!" screamed Kinze only to get a close up approach by the very doll itself, greeting her with eagerness with inches apart to which she screams so loud, it was heard by me from below.
"Kinze? is that you? Kinze! Kinze!" I yelled until a rough sound of voice shushes me from behind.
"Who was that?" I asked but no reply came. I wasn't afraid, whoever it was, ghost or human, they have no idea what they've got in store for, didn't want to be the animal caught in trap, so I became one, cowering myself in pure silence, just like the predator until not a single voice was heard from both of us.
As I started to crouch down, and work my way towards the floor, I could sense the presence of others going above me, back and forth, but there wasn't anyone, there was no way to confirm it, at least that's what I thought at first, but I was too late when the lights came back on with fire torches from the natives.
And just like I predicted, one was caught within a cage, only that it was me, instead of them, as a surrounded group of whoever these masked robed cultists waving their spears at me are.
As I start to move towards a certain direction, they followed me, but at a distance, I couldn't turn back or forth to free myself from their strategic hold, I could try, taking a few of them out by surprise, but the rest would be too busy driving their spears through my chest, I would be dead.
"Who the hell are you people? what do you want?" I asked but a single reply didn't come from one of them, except for a tiny child who arrived behind me slowly, if only I could have used him to find a way open. Did the WIC Company know they were here? or perhaps it was they who sent him, like Austin, he wasn't mentioned right? forget about him.
"You! are you a child? wait, ghosts, fears, you're all fears aren't you? you're not real." I asked with a confident tone I wouldn't get a reply, but I did, and it shocked me.
"We.. are.. real.. Tokyo." said the child.
"Did.. did you just talk?" asked Tokyo. "I did, you wanted a reply, did you not? or was it a rhetorical question?" asked the child. "You're not a ghost, if you were, you'd kill me at this point." said Tokyo.
"That's where you are wrong, I would kill you, even if I'm not a ghost, after knowing who you are, and what did you to enter La Casa Manavi." said the small child.
"How did you get in here? who the hell are you people?" I asked. "We are same as you, guests of Salbatore Manavi." said the small child.
"Guests of who?" I asked to which the small child chuckled, this, I could confirm. "Salbatore, aren't you invited of his gracious presence?" asked the small child which caught me with a little uncertainity, this child might not be what I think. "I don't know any salba torii kid, I only came her for the show, I was planning on winning it." I said.
"What show?" asked the small child. "Dhee show, you know? The gold with the ghost, it's on every cable streaming channel now, people love to watch others pay with their blood, and that WIC Company sure makes their dreams come true." I said which dawned a pause over the small child over me.
"You there kid? why won't you tell your men to put the spear down.. I'll lowers mine too, mentally." I said with a wink, but it doesn't seem to quell down, either his people, or him. "You.. you're from the future, aren't you?
Seklos, we've truly have been living here for centuries." said the small child which sounded like pure nonsense to me, but they were my only way out, so I cooperated, whether it was mind games, or some drugged aged hippe club.
"You're not talking sense kid, what do you mean the future? when did you people get in here?" I asked. "In the early constructions, the 1800s, it had been passed in over 30 years right? if I'm correct?" asked the small child. "Try 221 years kid." I said, playing along with whatever they wanna play.
"No! it can't be, I knew we were in here, but more than a hundred years, it can't be 2021 yet, I wasn't trapped in here in such a long time." said the small child, child of all people, what is this place? can't the WIC Company just demolish it for the greater good? or wait, they can't, because they're earning from it.
"Whatever, I don't care, I'm not here for chitchat, either let me go, or be done with it, I'm sick and tired of playing with these mind games, I mean it!"
I yelled at him so loud, he felt like crying, but looking upon him, I could tell, he was lost, he was.. trapped, just like we were too, and even without giving me a hint of vengeance, he gave away the command to let me go, that's what I confirmed he was not a ghost.
