Chapter Six

1100 Words
Alpha Drew I have spent hours calling around every pack within a hundred miles of us and not one of them has seen my boys or a female fitting their teachers description. They have all agreed to keep a look out for them on our behalf and even though I am grateful it hasn't helped us to track them down. The only thing stopping me from destroying the entire pack house in anger right now is my beautiful new wife who is pacing the floor of my office in front of my desk. I know she is absolutely terrified and the last thing she needs is for me to be losing my s**t right now. I need to be strong for the both of us. She had left briefly a few hours ago to change out of her wedding dress and into more comfortable clothes. I was secretly devastated when she did. It was our wedding night and I should have been stripping her out of that dress and taking her over and over again but that would have to wait for now until Jack and Jacob were found. " When is he going to wake up!" She demands for the tenth time. " I don't know princess but we will be the first to know when he does and we will go straight there" " There must be something else we can be doing Drew! It has been hours since she took them its going to be getting light soon." " We are doing everthing we can. Every pack in the area is on the lookout for them. I have my best trackers out trying to pick up any trail they can and Amelia is working on the tiny bits of powder we found to see if she can work out who made it." Amelia is a young witch who I brought in to help me work out if Isabella was under a spell when we first met in Hawaii. She had then come to the pack to help us out again and when she was here she had met her mate and become a member of the pack. She was currently investigating the powder to see if it harboured any clues as to who Beatrice might be working with because as far as we all know she herself is just a simple omega wolf and has no magical capabilites. " I know, I know. Drew I just feel so helpless. I am their mum I should of protected them. They must be so scared and confused and I'm not there" Isabella broke down in tears and I just pulled her onto my lap and held her as her body shook from her sobs. I knew that right now there was literally nothing else we could do but wait until that prick woke up and we could find out what he knew. Even then I knew getting answers was unlikely to be easy. Not long after a mindlink came through from Cal informing us that the prisoner was awake. Isabella jumped straight of my lap and started to run towards the door. I caught up with her and pulled her back. She turned to me with a puzzled expression. " You need to stay here for now." I told her. She glared at me and shook her head. " There is no way I am staying here. I want to hear what he has to say. I want to know why he was trying to take our boys and where they are" " We need to tread carefully and your emotions are high" " So are yours" " I know but the last time you saw this guy you beat him unconscious. We can't risk you losing your temper again and having to wait even longer for the answers we need." " I won't hit him again. I promise. I just want to know where my babies are." Tears began to fill in her eyes again and I didn't have the heart to refuse her this. " Ok you can come but you need to stay at the opposite end of the room with Cal." " Fine. Let's go." She took off running again and unlike earlier in the night when I had ended up having to carry her because of her shoes this time she ran like the devil himself was chasing her and to be honest I struggled to keep pace with her. We reached the dungeons in record time and made our way down the dark stone steps towards the corridor that housed the cells. We have learnt our lesson from the last time we had a prisoner down here who was able to escape with the help of a witch and so not only are the doors all laced with silver but Amelia has cast some spells on them to prevent them from being broken down by magic. I have to admit it is very handy having a witch as part of the pack. Isabella stops at the bottom and reaches for my hand and I take it in mine immediately. I know she needs my support. We walk in silence until we reach the final cell at the very end of the corridor outside of which Owen and Cal are stood with Hugo, one of my top warriors. Each one of them has a look on their face that is hard to pin down. It's part anger part sadness with a little bit of fear thrown in. They are clearly just as worried about the boys as we are. " Has he said anything yet?" I ask as we reach them. " Not yet Alpha just the occasional moan of pain." Owen replied. " Yeah the Luna f****d him up pretty good" Cal said with a wink at Isabella. Isabella responded with a weak smile. She had a good bond with Cal not only because of his cheeky nature but also as he had known her longer than anyone else here at the pack. He had been with me in Hawaii when we first found each other. " We are going to go in and try to find out as much as we can. Cal you are to stay at the other end of the room with the Luna. If any of this gets too much for her I need you to take her out of the room" " Yes sir" Cal said with a quick salute. With that we walked inside the cell. It was time to find out where our boys are.
