Chapter 17 – Cole
“He's wearing a Leland uniform,” Annora said. She looked like she might throw up. “Nat must have let him out of prison and given him the job in exchange for his soul.”
“I'm sure Nat thinks he can use him somehow.” Dale pursed his lips. “The only question is 'how.' What does he have in mind?”
They stood in one of the alcoves for the restrooms. It was out of the way, and it seemed a good place to loiter without attracting too much attention.
