Chapter 11 – Solar Terminal There was no window in the cockpit, but there was a monitor on the console, and the ship had a few external cameras. They were at the end of their journey, and Dale watched their final approach on that monitor with a mix of trepidation and awe. Mercury loomed in the distance like a scarred corpse, all pockmarked and mottled gray. The sun was visible, too, though he was a little disappointed. He had expected it to look enormous.
