Chapter 4

1540 Words
Out in the main room with Princess Tenille and her servant, Anna, Kiera was contemplating how her night would go.  She wondered if they dressed her too nice—too enticing and thought about the prince’s reaction.  She wanted to avoid him forcing her into bed with him but she also did not want to go back to the dungeons with the guards.  Least of all she did not want to be sent back to her family.  These thoughts swirling around in her mind made her zone out to where she did not notice Anna and Tenilla chatting. “She looks pretty.  I mean for a slave.  Can’t wait to see his reaction,” said Tenille. In the most anticlimactic way, the prince entered once again racing pass Tenille servant as he was trying to announce his arrival to the princess.  Kiera so badly wanted to look up.  She wanted to see if the prince noticed her and see the response in his eyes but she did not allow herself to. As soon as his boots came to a halt, he gruffly asked Tenille, “What do I owe you?” “Oh, don’t worry about it,” said Tenille in a generous tone waving her hand away. Tenille would one day ask Rafael to repay this favor and he knew.  He did not like owing people, especially favors, but he was in a hurry to leave his sister’s presence before she started up a conversation. Rafael walked over to Anna, she handed him the chains, and the prince actually spoke to Kiera for the first time. “Come on,” he said. It wasn’t much but it was their only interaction thus far.  He turned to lead her out of the room. “Uh, don’t I get a thank you?” Tenille called after him. With a low growl he kept on marching out of her quarters without glancing back.   Back in the prince's chambers, Kiera took her spot next to the bed post.  It was her unofficial place to stand even though the prince didn't have her chained to the bedframe this time.  Her chain just hung loose down at her feet and the end was laying on the floor.  The prince was acting almost anxious; breathing hard and pacing a few steps.  Kiera just kept her eyes down and her mouth shut.   In walked one of the two servants, he was in front of a burly man, the servant proceeded to announce this man's arrival to the prince. "Lord Tydwin is here, Your Highness." "Your Highness," said Tydwin as he waltzed down the few steps and into the room. "Tydwin," the prince said in a low voice. The man clunked over to survey Kiera.  She could tell he was a big man but still a hair shorter than the prince.  Tydwin did appear more stout by the looks and sounds of him.  Kiera kept her eyes down as she felt Tydwin's breath on her. "Someone said you took one of those whores back to your bed last night after the ceremony," Tydwin said while inspecting Kiera.  The prince took a step closer to Kiera but did not say anything.   It had become clear to Kiera that it was no honor at all to be a part of the ceremony.  The territories outside of the kingdom's capitol, where Kiera was from, had a distorted view.  They were aware of some gruesome rumors but even so tales of the King and his princes and princesses allowed the commoners to fantasize a little.  The thought it surely couldn't be all bad. "She could be a little fatter," said Tydwin and he reached his hand down to her butt and pinched it. Kiera lunged at Tydwin.  In one swift move, the prince caught her by the arm, stopping her.  Kiera was staring Tydwin in the eyes with contempt.  He hadn’t flinched.  “Oooh, easy now,” laughed Tydwin. He looked more barbarian than clean cut.  He was definitely a fighter.  This did not scare Kiera.  She kept glaring at him in anger as the prince pulled her back. “f**k!” shouted Tydwin when Kiera kicked him in the shin with a sharp jab from the toe of her sandal.  She was trying to let him know he couldn’t pinch her ass and get away with it.  She also resented him calling her a w***e. Tydwin tried to get into her face but the prince had positioned Kiera behind him.  The prince stared at Tydwin until he calmed down and backed away. “Now I know why the guards bound her hands.  She’s a little hell-cat,” said Tydwin with a chuckle trying to lighten the mood. “I need you to run an errand for me,” spoke Prince Rafael letting go of Kiera’s arm and walking towards the door with Tydwin. Kiera looked down at her arm.  Did the prince just try to protect her?  She wondered.  She looked up at the backs of both Rafael and Tydwin as they spoke in a hushed manner.  Kiera was only able to hear a few words. “Guards…dungeon…her…tomorrow,” those were the only words that Kiera was able to hear among their conversation but it was enough to make her worry.  She wondered if the prince was planning to send her back to the dungeon tomorrow.  That was the last place she wanted to go.  The guards would surely take their turns with her now if they thought she was the prince’s discarded w***e. “Yes, Your Highness,” nodded Tydwin and left. The prince turned back and went to his desk.  Kiera peeked up to see that he was looking over papers.      After about two hours the sun started setting.  Kiera heard the prince rise from his seat at his desk and she stood up from the floor.  The prince went to use the chamber pot and left the door slightly open again.  Kiera’s fear hadn’t dwindled.  She knew she had to escape soon or else she would be back in the dungeon.  “And you?” a deep voice caught her attention and she looked up. “Do you need to use it?” the prince asked again. Kiera nodded and walked to the door to the small room.  She gently closed the door behind her and he didn’t stop her.  She wasn’t sure if he would be settled with leaving her unattended in there. It was a small room with a stone and wood bench at the end.  In the middle of the bench was a hole that Kiera sat over.  As she was peeing, Kiera saw that the window was ajar and then the idea dawned onto her.  She finished her business and quietly slipped her dress down trying not to move the chains much.  She tried to look down through the small opening that was showing.  She couldn’t see much so she lightly opened one of the shutters but it made a creaking sound.  She froze.  She heard her heartbeat as she held her breath.  The prince opened the door without warning and spotted her at the window.  Kiera was caught in the act.  The prince stood and stared at her, almost warning her not to climb the window.  It was fight or flight and Kiera knew she could not defend herself against Rafael.  She jumped up to the windowsill but it was futile.  The prince wrapped his arms around her waist drawing her backwards as she tried to kick herself free.  She struggled as he took her out of there and back into the bedroom.  He walked her right in to the wall.  He pushed her into it with his body making it difficult for her to breathe. “It’s a four-story fall.  Just how far did you think you would get?” he grunted behind her trying to make her be still. “You’re not taking me back to the dungeons,” she yelled out of breath as her face was being smashed to the side of the wall. “I will take you anywhere I want,” he growled deeply into her ear. His tone caused Kiera to quit fidgeting.  They stood there for a minute and Kiera regained her breath as good as she could despite behind held tight between the prince and the stone wall.  The prince didn’t say a word, Kiera could only hear him breathing.  His hot breath was on her ear.  The prince leaned in harder and this time Kiera could feel his bulge harden against her back ever so slightly.  She pressed back into him and she felt his manhood throb in response.  The prince released his pressure on her with a sigh and she stepped backwards a bit unbalanced.  He grabbed her chain and brought her over to his wardrobe.  The prince changed his clothes while holding Kiera’s chain the entire time.  He no longer trusted her to not escape.
