I walked out to the front of the mansion after ensuring that Cianna was asleep. We'd spent the entire day rehearsing for her acting scenes tomorrow. Even though she didn't have any experience I was pleasantly surprised at how well she did. She was a quick learner and a fast thinker, all of these things would prove beneficial in her acting career.
No sooner had I reached the front gate did I noticed a Jeep pulling up. I watched as a figure got out the vehicle and a familiar pair of blue eyes spotted me within seconds.
"You're late today." Edmund, my best friend pointed out.
"I had to wait for Cianna to fall asleep."
He tilted his head to the side. "The daughter of the woman John married?"
