I felt all warm and fuzzy inside as I opened my eyes the next morning. The events of the night before flashed before my mind and I couldn't help the blush that flowed to my cheeks at the sweet reminder.
Even though I still felt guilty that Chase had broken up with his long term girlfriend just because of me, I still couldn't stop the joy that followed knowing that he did it all for me. It all happened just because Haisley had tried to embarrass me in front of her friends. Chase still chose to protect me from her. I didn't know what I did to deserve the treatment he'd been giving to me since I'd met him but I didn't want it to ever stop.
