It was a swanky event. They decided to meet each other at the party since they both had to go home and change. Duncan arrived first and mingled a bit with the other guests, keeping an eye out for Lynn. He wore a black tuxedo, white shirt, and black bowtie, all of which set off his skin tone nicely. He was wearing his contacts this evening, so his hazel eyes were on full display. Many eyes, from both sexes, followed his progress as he went from group to group, introducing himself. Extracting his arm from a very clingy woman, Duncan stepped aside and bumped into someone behind him. Turning around to steady the person by the arm, he said, “I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to…” Duncan stopped talking and stared. It was Lynn, and he was beautiful. He had decided to wear a dress for the evening:
