I woke up feeling my puffy face from crying.

I turned on my phone and saw a new message from Brandon.

He called me and hung up. Hmm, guess he had nothing to say to me.

Before I could check the next message he called me.

I said," Hey, sorry I turned off my phone. Did you try to call me, it was a very bad night."

I quietly cried now.

He thought that I had listened to all of his messages from him.

He said,"I am so sorry. I don't even have words!"

"Well, there isn't really anything you can say."

Thinking that he was talking about grandma.

My mom came into the room,"time to go, everyone's waiting in the car baby."

I slowly hung up the phone.

I told myself, "She didn't yell at me like I thought she would, maybe I didn't say anything too terrible."

After the funeral, I went to the reception.

I had a moment to check my messages when I saw a text for Lilly on the burner phone.

I read it, it was from last night.

He had told Lilly that his wife was a b***h?

I swiped the phone closed.

I decided to look at my own phone now.

I saw several old texts and voice mails from Brandon, from last night.

I listened to the voice mails now.

Slowly I got up and walked outside, under a large tree.

I slid down. My back was against the tree trunk.

It was much quieter outside. Then I listened to the horrible things that he had said about me.

He sounded drunk. I played them again, and then again. "Frigid, b***h, ugly, cheater."

Those four words played over and over in my mind.

I tried to text Lilly again.

"Well, are we meeting soon my love, I could really use a friend, my wife is out of town!" I said.

I apologized to her, "Sorry about that, I was drunk texting last night, I was mad at the little woman for a minute there. But it's okay now, she will be over it soon. Can you come over?"

To say I was crying was an understatement, blinking back tears, I wrote back, "It's me your b***h wife, slut, frigid, ugly, cheater."

I erased it all and wrote, "Tell Miss Lilly all about it, I can't come this weekend, the big guy got sick now."

He didn't respond.

I added," Want me to send a picture?"

I walk back to that tree. It seemed to be my only friend.

I looked up at the sky, "Grandma I need you!"

The heavens opened up and the rain poured down.

I responded back. "I need love. I need it so bad. I don't have anyone to talk to, well there was this one drunk guy, he was funny. I don't think he remembered a word I said. He kissed my hand. He was a perfect gentleman. That's what I want."

I responded," I don't want to leave him, I still want to try to work it out, he loved me once upon a time."

Brandon said,"That's hard. Is that why you signed up for this site, I mean were you just lonely?"

"Well, to tell you the truth Lucky, I signed up to find out if my husband was on here, I only found you." I said sadly.

Brandon, "Lucky lawyer" was so nice to Lilly.

"Why did you sign up Lucky?"

I wanted to hear him say it, I needed to hear him tell me a good reason.
