Chapter 9 Crazy Killing

A ghost with green fur and two large fangs sticking out of his mouth was glaring at Robert and Anthony’s gang. Robert saw his stats:

Features: It is formed by those who are under a spell and can release spells to kill others
Was it only at a level five? BOSS was different; he could have fun with it. Robert waved the Laser Sword and smiled.
"Robert, what is it?” The four boys shivered with fear and hid behind Robert.
"You can call it rubbish!" Robert snorted as the ghost moved closer to them, and he swung his sword.
The ghost let out a cry as it immediately lost 50 HP, and Robert wasn't going to give it a chance to recover; he hit it again. The second his reduced by 100 HP, the ghost under the spell was screaming in agony.
"What the hell are you? How could you have the Divine-level instrument?!” It looked at Robert with fear in its eyes.
"I am the one who came to kill you!" Robert stated calmly. His eyes became wide; he pulled out a Fiery Rune and forced it onto the ghost's forehead, "Goodbye!"
He stepped back happily, waved at the dying ghost, and within seconds the fireball erupted and forced the ghost against a wall. As it began to burn, it shouted, "Wait and see! My boss will get revenge for me!"
"Congratulations to the host for killing the ghost, caught the spell, and getting 200 points!"
It was such a pity that he only received two hundred points. Robert sighed, but before he could get too discouraged, he saw a pair of bright red eyes emerging from the darkness.
"The system found the hidden BOSS of the haunted school building. It is the red-eyed ghost under a spell!"
Ecstatically, Robert was ready to continue fighting. He was lucky, and the Book for Heavenly Skill would soon be his, "You will die today!"
After a roar, the red-eyed ghost appeared. It was slightly larger than the other ordinary ghosts, and its fangs were thicker and sharper. The red-eyes that were dripping with blood almost made the boys behind Robert pee their pants.
Robert didn't have time to worry; he saw this ghost's stats:

Features: Evolved from ordinary ghosts, with a strong desire to kill people and strong attack power
The health points were double; even so, Robert was unmoved. He attached Fiery Runes to his Laser Sword, then held his breath and threw the sword. As it traveled through the air, the sword shattered into a rainbow of light, then plunged into the chest of the ghost.
It happened so fast that the ghost didn't even realize what had happened. It stared at Robert in horror and trembled, then a sudden burning heat spread from it. The whole fifth floor had turned into a giant steam room, and without notice, the Laser Sword in the red-eyed ghost's chest exploded like a bomb.
Robert and the others quickly covered their eyes with their arms, the dazzling red light was blinding, and they were unable to see anything for a few minutes.
When the red light and heat gradually dissipated, the only thing left was the ghost's blackened body with its red-eye popping out of its head, and the Laser Sword still stuck in its chest.
Checking its HP, Robert could see that it was almost zero, so it could be collected with his kit. After pulling out the kit, Robert saw the ghost crawling toward him; not sure what to do, Robert waited.
The red-eyed ghost fell to his knees, with a trembling voice but look of respect it said, “You are the most horrible man I have ever seen! I admit my defeat!”
"Thank you for your compliment, but I am sorry," Robert said softly, then pulled Laser Sword out of its chest, and opened the kit.
"Congratulations to the host for defeating the red-eyed ghost and getting 800 points!"
"Congratulations to the host for passing through the haunted school building and getting 1,000 points and the experience points, respectively!"
"Congratulations to the host for killing the hidden ghost in the haunted school building and getting Book for Heavenly Skill!"
"The current system is on the second level, and you have gotten enough experience. Do you want to upgrade the system?"
Robert was so happy that he agreed to upgrade immediately.
"The system upgrade successfully!"
When he switched on the property panel, Robert almost fainted with excitement.

He got 2,800 points by killing ghosts alone; Robert was thrilled.
"Congratulations to the host for upgrading the system to level 3. The reward of Divine Laser Sword, a piece of ghost collecting rune, will be given to the host! PS: The Divine Laser Sword will directly replace similar Low-level instruments."
Anthony's group of boys all admired Robert and wished he was their boss. On the way back, Robert and the punks found several bones in a very inconspicuous place. There were several red helmets beside the bones, so they assumed they must be the demolition team's missing workers. They picked up a few bones and returned to the first floor.
Robert kept his ghost eyes open when he went back, just in case there were any other dangers. When they reached the first floor, Robert saw a tiny ghost lying in the corner; he rushed over, ready to attack until the screen appeared in front of him:

Features: It will attach to a human body, bringing disaster and bad luck
Robert closed his ghost eyes and saw a few Buddha necklace fragments lying on the ground where the ghost was. He didn't understand how it got there until a red-haired gangster said, "Oh! That is Anthony's necklace; it has to be. I have seen him wear something just like it!"
"Oh?" Robert knew some things about Buddha necklace's, but he never expected to be framed by Anthony. He opened the system's item bar as frustration built within him; he was thinking of how to deal with Anthony.
Ghost Collecting Rune

Ability: You can collect ghosts in this rune and release them at any time
Enchantment: Disposable goods and cannot be enchanted
“Maybe I should give him a taste of his own medicine!” Robert whispered and smiled slyly as he gathered the ghost and necklace.
"You, you are out..." Anthony couldn't believe that all five of them were walking out of the haunted school building; none of them appeared to have a scratch on them.
"The human bones you want!" Robert motioned to the four boys, who immediately understood and handed them to Anthony.
"How is this even possible?!” Anthony swallowed. He was sure his Buddha necklace would work, or maybe there was no ghost in the building.
"Are you happy? Are you satisfied? Surprised or not?" Robert smiled, “Who cares? It is time for you to pay up on the bet!”
