I came off the phone to Eli with a sigh, dropping my phone on the sofa. I couldn’t believe she wasn’t there. After all that, I had thought we had her, thought we had found the pack she was at. Seems she was just using that pack to finish college because she knew someone there.
I am amazed she is training to be a Dr. That takes some courage and some strength. What a girl. My mate. A mate to be proud of. I just need to find her and prove to her I am worthy of her. Prove to her I made a mistake, prove to her that I have been misled as I grew up, that I do want her, and that I can be the mate she deserves.
I can love her, care for and worship her. It sounded like she was highly regarded in the packs she had already been to, so she was clearly a good woman, and would be an amazing Luna. I j
