Lila, torn between her past self and l**t's power, hesitated. Michael seized the moment, reaching out to her.
"Lila, you don't have to do this," he implored. "You can choose a different path."
Her eyes flickered with conflict, but before she could respond, Asmodeus' voice thundered through her mind, tightening his hold.
