CHAPTER 1
**Thelma's POV**
Staring at the dark-skinned man who was lying on the bed beside me, I could remember how it all started between us.
I was ridiculed by my two best friends, Sandra and Ella, for still being a virgin at 24 years old. They laughed at me mercilessly while I painfully realized how stupid I must have seemed to them.
I rushed down to the club section of the hotel to gulp down any available liquor they had, hoping to forget my sorrows and the bullying. There, a man in a black suit approached me and spoke, "Hello, miss."
I stared back at the man's face, wondering who he was and what he wanted from me. I was too sorrowful to listen to him.
He grabbed the bottle from my hands and pulled me up to follow him outside of the club room, and I was puzzled to be dragged out by a stranger.
"Who are you? Let me go!" I screamed out, wearing a red long slim-fitted gown and my black low-heel shoes.
I'm the only daughter of my billionaire parents and the sole heiress of BeeH Group. The people in the bar didn't care to interfere, as they were rather absent-minded and drinking from their own bottles.
"Calm down, miss, I don't mean any harm," the man said to me. I looked up at his face again and saw that he looked much older than me, like a middle-aged man probably in his 40s or older.
I had never fantasized about having an affair with a man who could be my uncle's age mate and immediately struggled to pull my hands away from his hold, but he repeated, "Calm down, miss, I don't mean any harm."
The man took me to a corner of the bar, and I replied, "If you don't mean any harm, then release my hand at once! Let me go!" I ordered, and the man sighed and finally spoke to me,
"Look, miss, I really need your help with something, and I don't mind paying you heavily for this job, as I think you're the best lady suitable for it."
"What job?" I asked him straightforwardly, my sharp blue eyes piercing his, as I searched his face to know if he was lying to me.
I wondered if he was a boss or a servant here in City B, where only billionaire families live and can afford the luxurious lifestyle. I wondered what help this man standing before me needed from me.
I'm a fair-complexioned young lady with a sharp pointed nose, blue sparkling eyes, and long golden hair. He spoke to me, "Look, miss, I know you don't know me, but I saw you rush into the club, and I understand that you're heartbroken."
"So, what do you need me for?" I asked him again, and he released my left hand that he had dragged me with. He said, "I want you to accompany me to spend a night with my boss."
"Your what??" I asked him in shock. I'm the daughter of the richest man in City B, so how could this man offer me such a useless task?
I was already too heartbroken due to my friends' insults and ridiculing in front of others.
I heard the man say, "I will pay you heavily, miss, but please come with me first, as we don't have much time to delay here."
I wanted to protest.
First, I didn't know this man.
Secondly, I had never gone out with a stranger before, as I'm usually heavily guarded by my father's security men.
My father doesn't easily allow me out of his sight. Even at the event hall I paid for to celebrate my birthday party, my dad's security men were there, standing guard outside while my friends and I celebrated in the hotel's private hall before they laughed at me.
I thought it best to follow the old man outside the hotel building. He seemed responsible, like an honest man, from his looks and calm demeanor. I also wanted to lose my virginity to avoid any further ridicule.
My father wants to arrange my marriage to a top billionaire's son, but he hasn't yet found the right match meeting his requirements for the type of groom he wants for me to marry. I'm still single and in no relationship at my age.
I silently followed the man to the car park, and we got into the front seat of the car. He started the engine and drove out of the hotel premises.
I saw two guards seated in the back seat while I sat on the second front seat as the old man drove us onto the main road.
I stared out the window and felt the cold wind on my face.
Soon, we arrived in front of a magnificent white building, and I wondered who owned the powerful mansion that stood elegantly before me as I remained seated in the car.
I marveled at the exterior view of the white mansion, and I heard the old man speak politely, "Step down, miss."
I gulped and stepped down from the car, realizing I hadn't even asked the old man his name yet.
"Come with me," the old man said, and I silently followed him into the living room.
The mansion looked as powerful as my father's, and I could see some stationed guards around the premises as we walked inside.
"Welcome home, Sir Adam," an elder woman greeted the old man first, who had brought me into the mansion. I bowed respectfully to her, while I greeted her, "Good evening, Ma."
I could see Sir Adam was surprised but quickly said to me, "Come with me again, miss."
"Okay," I followed Sir Adam upstairs to the second floor, as the house is a magnificent two-story building.
Sir Adam paused at a doorway and spoke to me, "Wait here, miss. Let me go inside and attend to my boss, as he's in his room."
"Okay," I gulped as I replied to Sir Adam.
I was scared and curious to know who the boss of the mansion was.
Was he my father's age or a young man like my size?
I was scared and at the same time curious, admiring the artistic painting on the wall. The painting, depicting ancient warriors and historical times.
I stood nervously, admiring the beautiful view of the second-floor lounge. After a while, Sir Adam stepped out from the room and said to me, "Come inside, miss."
I followed Sir Adam into the sitting room and almost freaked out at the cold air conditioning. The room was painted white, and it seemed like everything was white and almost invisible.
From the white couch to the white wall painting, white curtains, white television, white divider, white ceiling...
Everything was white, and Sir Adam turned to me and said, "Look, miss, just do whatever my boss asks you to do, as I've drugged him to have s*x with you."
"What!!" My eyes widened in shock at Sir Adam's statement.
I quickly told him, "I'm not a prostitute, sir." I said, in case that's what Sir Adam thought of me when he saw me rush into the hotel club.
"I know, miss, just go in there, and you will meet my boss. I promise to pay you heavily as discussed, and I will take you back home safely," Sir Adam said.
"Is this a joke? Pay me how much?" I asked Sir Adam inquisitively, as I wasn't broke, and I'm a billionaire's daughter who also owns a black card.
So how much does Sir Adam think he could pay me?
"1 million," he said, and I chuckled.
"I'm worth way more than that, sir. And I cannot go in there. I'm scared," I replied, afraid of the man in the bedroom Sir Adam wanted me to meet.
"Please, miss," Sir Adam spoke.
"Just call me Thelma," I replied, not wanting to mention my last name since the Sabastian name is well-known in City B. Everyone knows my father is among the top richest here.
"Okay, Miss Thelma, but we cannot continue to delay my boss. So just name how much you want, and I will speak to my old master about it," Sir Adam said.
"Your old master? Who's that?" I asked Sir Adam, and just then, I heard a deep masculine voice call out from within the room door in front of us, "Who's there?"
I froze at the cold commanding voice. Sir Adam quickly said, "Please go in there, Miss Thelma. I will be outside waiting for you."
Before I could ask Sir Adam any more questions, he quickly sneaked out of the sitting room, shut the door, and left me standing alone in the white room.
