King Silas     I was having a hard time falling asleep, because I couldn’t pull my thoughts away from Alana, when I heard the sound of my doorknob turning.  I stayed perfectly still and listened as my door was quietly opened, then that intoxicating scent of Alana’s started tickling my nose.     It took everything I had not to crinkle my nose in response, as I listened to her light footsteps go across my floor.  I could tell she was heading for the balcony doors, but I wasn’t sure why, so I kept myself on high alert in case she tried something stupid, causing me to chase after her.     I had to stifle a chuckle when I heard the balcony door creak.  I could picture the look of fear in her eyes when it made that noise.     After I heard Alana slip onto the balcony, I quietly left the warm
