Chapter Seven: Honeymoon

The wedding ceremony had been so quick Alina couldn’t believe it had actually happened; but now there was a gorgeous gold band around her finger…so she told herself it must be true!
As Zelda had promised, there had been hardly anybody around in the pretty village of Albesti, which was close to the Black Sea, and Zelda’s choice for the ceremony. If this had been a real wedding Alina would have loved to take her husband for a romantic walk in the fields here. For a moment she imagined it was Erik, not Charles, she’d married…and him making love to her in the open air with the sun shining on their naked bodies.
