Just as we were putting away the last of the cleaning supplies, the doors burst open once again. Luna Ruby strode in, her high heels clicking ominously on the marble floor. She looked around the room with a critical eye, her lip curled in what seemed to be perpetual disdain. I held my breath, praying that our efforts would be enough to avoid whatever punishment she had threatened earlier. Ruby ran her finger along surfaces, peered at corners, and even got down on her hands and knees to inspect the baseboards.
