Alpha Donk turned his cold gaze on her. "Anything? That's a dangerous offer, my dear. But it's not you I want information from. It's Rebecca." I looked at Jermaine, then at Lily, and finally back at Alpha Donk. My mind was racing, trying to find a way out of this impossible situation. I needed time to think, to plan. "I... I need time to consider your offer," I said finally, hating the weakness in my voice. Alpha Donk nodded, seeming pleased. "Very well. You have until tomorrow morning to make your decision. Choose wisely, Rebecca. The fate of those you care about hangs in the balance." With that, he waved his hand dismissively. The guards grabbed us, ready to escort us back to our cell. As we were led away, I caught one last glimpse of Jermaine, his eyes wide with fear and confusion.
