Chapter 6

Adella

Blaze? Is this Blaze's Bike? What is going on? And the most important question is where is Blaze? I looked at Mason. His expressions were not so good looking.

"Let's go." Said Mason.

He took my hand and started walking to I don't know where. I'm so clueless. Before I could ask him I heard someone calling our names. It was Blaze's voice.

"Mason Adella where are you going?"

Mason was tightly holding my hand to the point where it was hurting me. I tried to loosen my hand from his but no vain. He wasn't just letting go. I saw Blaze looking at us. He came towards us but Mason opened the car door for me and literally pushed me inside. What's wrong with him? He closed the door and went towards the driver seat.

"Mason we need to talk." Said Blaze.

Mason sighed and went outside. I want to go out and scream at both of them. I could see both of them quarrelling with each. Should I go and stop them? I went outside and saw that they were in a heated conversation. I cleared my throat to get their attention.

"Ella." Said Mason with soft eyes.

"Adella." Said Blaze.

Mason walked towards me but before he could say anything Blaze took my hand and pulled me towards Mason's car. He opened the door for me and threw me inside. He went towards the driver seat. I could hear Mason screaming Blaze's name again and again.

"Blaze what the f**k are you doing? Get out of my car right now!"

"Blaze what are you doing? What is going on? Open the door for me. I want to get out of here." Finally, I found my voice to speak something. He looked at me and accelerated the car.

Now it was just him and I in the car. I want to ask so many questions and I want to scream at him. His jaw was clenched and his hands were tightly clutching the steering wheel to the point where his knuckles turned white. Deep down I have a feeling that the fight was about me. I'm sure this Blaze guy doesn't like me at all and now I'm stuck with him. He's not answering my questions and he's driving the car so fast. I'll throw up anytime I'm sure.

"Stop..stop the car right now. I'm not feeling well...please." I said to him, having no energy to scream at him. He glanced at me and slowed down the car. He gave me a water bottle. I took it and drank water from it. This is the time Ella. Ask him.

"I don't know what happened with you guys but can you please give me any explanation? I deserve to know." He again glanced and ignored me.

"For god sake Blaze. Tell me or pullover."

He pulled over the car in front of a resort. I tried to get out but the car was locked.

"Open the door." He again was just looking at me.

"Listen Blaze. This is it. Open the door. I'm going home right now. What do you guys think of yourself? You can't treat me like this. You can't give me the silent treatment." I let out my anger. They are confusing me. They can't just throw me anywhere they want. I'm not an object.

"I'm going to ask you one question and I expect you to tell me the truth," said Blaze.

"What?" Now he wants to ask me a question.

"Do you like him?" He said.

"Who?" I like what? What is he saying? Blaze closed his eyes, took a deep breath and looked at me.

"Do you like him? Mason I mean." What the s**t? Where did that come from? Of Course, I like him but as a friend. I don't have any romantic feelings for him.

"This doesn't make any sense. Why are you asking this?" I said to him.

"Just answer the goddamn question, Adella." He said anger clearly in his eyes.

"Yes I like him as a friend but I don't have any romantic feelings for him. Now if you're done with your stupid questions. Open the door for me so I can get out of here." I have no idea why did he asked a question like this nor I expect him to explain it to me

"You need to stay away from him." He said in a serious tone.

"I thought you were friends. Blaze either you explain me the whole damn thing or just let me out of here. I don't want to get in between you guys. I'll just book the tickets and leave for New York as soon as possible."

"You don't understand. It's not that simple anymore. Let's just get inside. I'll explain to you everything I promise."

Should I trust him? I have no idea what I've been doing for the past two days. It should be safe right? I've never been so irresponsible in my whole life. I've nowhere to go. I should give him a chance to explain. Please God let it be a good decision. Don't let me regret it, please.

"Okay let's go." We went inside the resort and Blaze booked a room. At this time, all I want to listen to is what Blaze has to explain. I looked at him waiting for him to start his explanation.

"So?" I said.

"So what?" Said Blaze.

"Really Blaze?" I glared at him.

"Adella...I know it's been just two days you've known me and you'll probably not believe what I'm going to tell you next but you need to trust me for your own good Okay?"

Nope..still no idea what he's saying. Just tell me the whole damn thing damnit.

"Okay," I said. He sighed.

"So here it goes. Mason and I've been friends since we were kids. I know everything about him. He's a nice guy and a good person but he has problems."

"Problems like what?" I asked.

"Whenever he likes a thing whether it was a toy or car he makes sure he gets what he wants."

"Okay, but what does this all have to do with me? I haven't taken his favourite toy or car or anything he likes. Why are you warning me?"

"You still don't get it? He likes you, Adella!"

Blaze anger laced in his voice.

Woah Woah Woah what did he say? Does Mason like me?

"Blaze you're taking it wrong. Mason and I barely know each other. Nobody can develop feelings so fast for someone. You misunderstand the situation." I tried to reason with him.

"One time there was a kid who tried to snatch Mason's favourite toy. The next thing we know was that the boy was admitted to the hospital for three weeks. Mason beat the s**t out of him. He can't control his emotions. He's obsessive and possessive towards the things he likes."

"But I'm not a thing. I'm not someone's possession and how can you be sure that he likes me?"

"He told me himself. He's getting crazy for you. Remember when your aunt called you and told you that it was a plan. It wasn't. It was Mason's doing so he could spend time with you. He can go this crazy!" Said Blaze.
