Chapter 3

Adella.

"Mason is it okay for me to come with you guys?" I asked him like a hundred times.

"Ella, don't worry okay. As long as I'm with you you don't have to worry. I'll make sure everything will be okay."

"Okay, Mason if you say so. . ."

I saw about 4 boys and 3 girls coming towards us. You know the feeling when you're somewhere and you don't even know what you are doing here? That's the feeling I'm feeling right now. Ella, you better run from here. Look at them. They're like spoiled rich kids. I looked at Mason. He isn't a spoiled rich kid. He's so nice.

Come on Ella it's just a night. Show some confidence girl.

"Where have you been? I was waiting here for so long?"

"Leave everything who's this hot chick?" One of the guys said. I made a face expressing 'what the. . .'

"You're so way out of her league."

What?

"If you're done can I talk now."

"Sureeee." Three of them said in unison.

Mason was explaining to them that I didn't care to listen. I saw that all the girls in his group were sticking to a particular man. One of the girls was touching his arm and the remaining two were standing too close to him so close that it was difficult for me to see him.

I looked down. I heard someone clearing his throat. I looked up to see Mason looking at me.

"What?" I asked.

"Ella this is Alex, Matt and Drake." He said, referring to the blond guys who were in front of me and waving at me with a cheeky smile on their face.

"Hi, Ella it's so nice to have you on our vacation. Believe me, you're gonna have the best time with us."

"Guys don't call her Ella. Only I can call her that. You should call her Adella."

"Why? We will call her Ella and you can't do anything about it." Drake said sticking his tongue out at Mason. I found it cute somehow.

"Yeah, she's our friend too now. Right, Ella?" Matt said. I just gave him a weak smile.

"You guys get lost. I'll show you the way, my lady." Alex said bowing down.

Mason put his hand on my shoulder and led me towards the girl and that guy. The boys were behind us. They were fighting over who would carry my luggage. I laughed at the situation.

"Oh, I forgot to introduce you to-"

"There's no need Mason. I'll be leaving by tomorrow. By the way, I didn't know your friends are so friendly and cool." I said looking at them and they were still fighting for the luggage.

"Hey, I'm way cooler than them okay?" He said looking so damn cute that I want to pinch his cheeks.

"Hey, Mason if you're done with your chick can we go now?" The fourth guy whose face I can't see was here in front of us. He's the definition of hotness but that doesn't mean that I'll check him out.

"First Blaze she's not a chick okay and she's definitely not like your sluts. She's coming with us."

"Hi, my name is Blaze." He said.

"Adella. Nice to meet you." Unlike me, he was totally checking me out.

"But mason you said it was a boy's vacation. Like just the 5 of us."

"You're saying that Blaze? Just look behind you. That girls are sitting in your jeep. They are probably coming with us."

"Do whatever you want Mason. I don't care. . ." He left after saying that. Woah now I feel bad. I opened my mouth to tell him that I don't want to be a burden on him but he understood my actions and pointed me to keep quiet.

I heard the guys complaining to that blaze guy.

"Blaze what's your problem man? Ella is coming with us okay. Don't you dare say a word about her"?

"You guys too. Okay fine do whatever you want I don't care."

"Ella, come on let's go, your luggage is already in the Jeep."

We went into the parking lot and I saw two jeeps. Both black.

"Okay so here it is me and Ella are going in this jeep-"

"We know what you're trying to say Mason but we won't agree. Me, Alex, Ella and Drake are going in this jeep and you go with blaze and his girls". Matt said. Seriously this is so strange and cute at the same time. I just met them and they're treating me like I'm their long lost best friend or something. Whatever it is I'm enjoying it.

"What? No, let me come with you guys. Ella say something". Mason said, almost pleading.

"Mason, are you coming or not?" Blaze said who was sitting on the other jeep with his girls at the back.

"No." Mason said.

"Too bad then you're staying here." Alex said and started the jeep.

"Alex let him come with us." I said.

"We're letting you come in only because she said." Matt said and Mason jumped in and said beside me.

"Let the fun begin." Alex said.

Blaze and Alex both started their jeep and drove as fast as they could. It was fun but scary at the same time.

"What's going on? Why are they driving so fast?"

"Because a race is happening my sweet Ella." He said.

"You're going down this time Blaze." Drake shouted. Blaze girls show us a thumbs down. While I was holding Mason's shirt tightly. I started whispering prayers for our safety to God.

Finally, the jeep stops and I feel like I will throw up any time soon. Mason helped me stand up.

"You're our good luck charm, Ella. This is the first time that I beat Blaze. Alex said.

What are they even talking about?

"I'm feeling like this is gonna be the best vacation ever." Drake said.

"Ella are you okay?" Mason said.

"Yeah, I'm okay now."

We were in front of a big and luxurious hotel that is probably Mason's.

"Luck was on your side Alex or else you guys can never beat me." Drake and Matt high five, squeezing me between them and Alex.

"Guys, can you leave Ella alone so I could show her her room?"

"We know every part of this hotel. We can show her. You go and check if your staff is working accurately or not." Matt said and they started looking at Mason cutely and waving him bye. Mason glared at them and went.

Okay without mason here and this blaze glaring at me is really awkward here.

"Blaze where are your girls? Are all of them spending their night with you in your room or it's a day by day." Alex asked, smirking at him.

"I sent them back to their home." He said, still looking at me. What's wrong with this guy.

"Okay but if you said any word about Ella going back home then-"

"I'm not saying anything."

"Don't worry I'll be leaving tomorrow. I'm just here for tonight."

"But Mason said you're going to spend the next two weeks with us."

"No, I'm leaving for London tomorrow. Didn't Mason tell you guys anything?"

"No, but he better explains everything to us." They said cracking up their fingers. I smiled at their reaction and looked at blaze only to find him staring at me. He's looking at me with such an intense look. Okay, I feel awkward now.

Mason came and the guys asked him and this time Mason told them the whole fact. I looked at blaze and now he had not that unexplainable look in his eyes. He was looking calm and okay with the situation while the other looked sad.

"So you're leaving tomorrow?" Alex said.

"Probably."

"Oh, it will be so fun to have you with us." I just gave him a weak smile. Mason held my hand and led me the way towards my room. I said good night to the guys.

"Ella, can't you stay? I swear you're gonna have your best time here". Mason said.

"Mason I would love to stay here but my aunt needs me and I can't leave her."

"So if your aunt won't need you anymore, would you stay here right?"

"Probably."

"Okay...then good night." He said and left.

I turned but someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around expecting it was mason but to my surprise it was Blaze?

"Hi. . ." He said.

"Hey. . ."

"Okay let's come to the point. I'm sorry I behaved like a jerk back there. I thought you were using mason and other bad stuff about you." He said while rubbing his neck.

Bad stuff? Ohhh maybe he was wondering that I was a gold digger and just here to use Mason.

"It's okay. It's normal to be protective of your friends."

"Yeah, thanks for understanding. So you are really leaving tomorrow. I mean is it that necessary for you to go?"

"Yeah. . ." I said.

"Okay..but if you stay here the guys and Mason would be really happy."

" I wish I could stay too." I said.

"Okay, then I'll leave now...goodnight."

"Goodnight Blaze." With that, I went into my room and threw myself on the bed. It had been a long day. I better call aunt Stella and tell her everything.
