"W-well," Adrianna stuttered upon seeing the fire in Thomas's eyes.
Thomas averted his gaze from her back to the ingredients he'd poured into the pan.
"I can cook," he said after a moment passed, "You'll see after its done,"
"Hmm" Adrianna nodded in response. "By the way, won't you go to work today? You're dressed very comfy."
"No," Thomas said, adding sauce to the already mixed ingredients. "They don't need me here anyway,"
"What does that mean?" Adrianna cautiously asked.
"Well… I already told them that I would be handling the businesses abroad. Other people are handling the ones here. If I interfere, I'll only be giving myself trouble."
"Wait…" Adrianna said, letting his words sink in, "Did you abandon your work abroad to come here?"
"Pretty much," said Thomas with an affirma
