Chapter Nine Arms crossed, Evelyn sat beside Jasper in the CO’s office. They had followed the jeep carrying two MPs and Corporal Alex Vance from the hangar. The commanding officer looked alternately irritated and appalled. Jasper’s expression was impassive, but the muscle jumping in his jaw told her of his suppressed rage.
