Chapter Sixteen
“An odd place to store them,” TJ observed.
“Not if you don't want someone to know about them,” Tony stated.
“Nothing is incriminating about them. They can't be blackmail.”
“Think about it. Why would Marybeth hide photos of her and a man under her mattress with her sister living with her?”
Realization dawned on TJ's face. “No, it can't be.” TJ sputtered. “Sabrina said her sister had never met Dennis.”
“That she knew of.” Tony didn't know what Dennis looked like, but he had little doubt if he took these photos to Dale they would get a positive ID.
“I can't believe it. Who could do that to her own sister?”
“People have killed for less. Sabrina was an obstacle to Marybeth and Dennis being together.” It wasn’t the most creative motive, but it was better than nothing.
