Chapter Twenty-Three
As soon as TJ dropped him off at home, Tony called the last person he thought he would ever call. Beth, Don’s wife. He hadn’t thought much of Dr. Grace’s advice in contacting her, but since Lexi had come back into his life, he wanted to make things right. To finally let go of his past. And to do that he needed to talk to Beth. It was her forgiveness he needed the most. His hands shook as he brought up her contact. The number was still programmed in his phone. He listened to it ring, his nerves making him want to throw up.
“Hello?” a woman answered.
