“What the hell just happened?” I frowned at Shay feeling really confused. “Where’s the amulet?” I pointed at the empty box and Shay sighed deeply, walking over to the drinks' tray. She poured herself a stiff drink and downed it before pouring another and turning to look at us. Caleb joined us dressed in only a pair of boxers.
“It could either be an excellent thing, or a really bad thing.” Shay frowned. Susan suddenly appeared with chamomile tea and as soon as she left, I thanked Caleb. I knew he probably told her to bring me some, since it was abundantly clear that I was upset. Not only did a stranger just appear in our home, but she was probably the most powerful magical creature on earth!
