It was intense. I decided on a strategy and made my way through the obstacles knowing that the two remaining players were searching for me. As I came around the corner, one of them appeared in front of me. He died but a split second later, so did I and the final results popped up on the screen. The remaining two members of the winning team jumped up to celebrate and I sat staring at the screen.
“2nd Place.” My team came running to congratulate me and I just sat there in utter shock! We might not have won, but we were second in the regionals! I was second in the regionals! It was probably the best moment of my entire life and a huge grin formed in the corners of my mouth.
