Jim’s going to Thailand.
That’s the big news that came out of mediation. I don’t know what else they talked about for an hour. I did ask. Bonnie said the financials are basically going to stay as they are. Did it take an hour to come to that decision?
Anyway, doesn’t matter—Jim leaving the country is the major surprise.
He’s got family living there. That’s why Thailand, specifically. He plans to spend Christmas with loved ones, which I think is nice. This seems like a great decision—to me. I don’t think Bonnie’s too pleased. In fact, when she told me, she framed this as “bad news.”
Why would Jim leaving the country for Christmas (and beyond) be bad news, unless Bonnie wants him around? She didn’t seem super-excited about spending Christmas with me. She doesn’t
