November 20th I don’t know how much longer I can put up with this. Yesterday afternoon, I remember looking at the clock—it was 4:30—and thinking: Hey, why don’t I call Bonnie to ask how her training session went this morning? But something inside me said: She’s at the house. She’s with Jim. I thought no, no. She never told me she was going to the house today. And I’ve communicated to her very explicitly that I expect her to inform me of these things beforehand. I’ve been very clear about that. But I didn’t call in the afternoon. I didn’t call until later in the evening. When we talked, she gave me a new phone number. She’d decided to have a landline installed after all. She’d just picked up an old phone. From the house. She didn’t come right out with any of this information.
