November 1st Halloween was amazing. Best day in recent memory. I needed that. I headed to Bonnie’s place mid-afternoon—in the rain. It was really coming down. Awful weather for the kids. I heard on the radio that Montreal has postponed Halloween until tonight. Too much rain in the forecast. I’ve never heard of that happening before. Anyway, it was business as usual around these parts. Bonnie proposed pasta and salad for dinner, which summoned a flashback of one halcyon childhood Halloween, eating a plate of spaghetti in front of the TV—Captain Kangaroo was on—and all I wanted to do was get in costume and start trick-or-treating.
