"Mr. Knight.................." I yelled so loudly and he looked at him. When Rana's gaze falls on the shooters, he pulled his gun out of his pocket and aims his gunpoint towards the bikers.

I felt a hard sting in my waist and I stopped running towards Hercules, my eyes filled with tears and my breathe stuck in my throat but I didn't stop staring at Hercules and only one question is raising in my mind.

Why the heck snipers wanted to kill Hercules...?

Rana runs towards me to shoot the snipers but before he came near me, both the shooters escaped. I started feeling dizzy, something is stinging in my waist, I held my aching waist area and screamed so painfully.

When my gaze falls on my bloody fingers, I felt like a dead body. "Ma'am....." Rana called my name and held me in his strong arms before I fall on the earth.

I closed my eyes while looking at the face of Hercules......

After one day :

When I opened my eyes I found myself lying on my abdomen and my waist is still aching so bad. I tried to get up but a loud moan escaped from my waist.

"Neha..... are you fine..., " asked Vikram and amble near me instantly. Tension, fear, happiness, concern all the expressions are very much visible on his face.

I passed him a painful smile, "what happened to me and why my waist is aching like a b***h, " I asked Vikram and tears welled up in his eyes.

Vikram leaned his face near me and kissed my back head many times. He is looking at me like I am the most precious gift of the Universe. I raised my hand and wiped the tear of Vikram, "Vikram....." I called him a name but he held my hand started screaming at me like a raging bull.

Due to pain, I didn't understand what he said to me but I can see the tension and concern on his face for me. After five minutes he stopped yelling at me and held his wounded area.

"I guess you should take a rest Vikram..." I said to Vikram but he made an angry face. "Why you put your life in danger to save that monster Neha, " asked Vikram and my face become pale, my body becomes rigid and last night's memories started flashing in my mind.

"They... They were planning to shot that dinosaur..., " I said to Vikram

"Exactly they targeted Hercules not you then why the hell you come between Hercules and his death. Why you didn't let him die, " asked Vikram in a frustrated tone but I rubbed my fingers on Vikram's palm.

"You are not a monster Vikram, so don't pretend like one. I can understand your hate towards him but don't forget he took me here to meet you, " I said to Vikram and he looks down in shame.

I smiled when I see the guilt on Vikram's face. "Where is he now...?" I asked Vikram about Hercules and he pointed his finger out of the room.

Vikram sit on my bed and rubbed his hand on my back head. "You fainted from last two days...." Said Vikram and I opened my eyes more widely than before.

"Really......" I asked Vikram and he nodded his head with a painful smile.

"Did your police caught the snipers...?" I asked Vikram and he nodded his head.

"Did they told you why they were trying to kill Mr.Knight? " I asked Vikram

"We found their dead bodies in the jungle yesterday, they both were brutally shot by someone...," said Vikram, and his words made me stunned.

"What happened, why you are looking so stunned...?" Asked Vikram while patting my head like a baby.

"Mr. Knight has zero enemies, he doesn't know anyone in India but still two snipers tried to kill Him, and now you are telling me that your police found their dead bodies in the jungle... That's very strange Vikram, " I said the last word with a moan.

Vikram become tensed after hearing my moan, "do you want me to call the doctor...?" Said Vikram and about to get up but I shook my head in no manner.

"I am fine don't go anywhere, " I said to Vikram and he stared at my waist.

"Neha, how do you find out that they were snipers and not local shooters, " Vikram asked me.

"They covered their faces with black paint, and one guy was holding the gun like a rifle. Their clothes were also looking so expensive and the bike which they used that night isn't available in India easily, " I told Vikram.

"Who is handling this case...?" I asked Vikram and he sighed heavily. "Till yesterday Rana was handling the case...," said Vikram, and I frowned

"Till yesterday.....?" I asked Vikram

"He is missing from yesterday night, our police is trying to find him everywhere but till now we have no clues about him. Maybe Naxalites abducted him but we don't have proper evidence..., " said Vikram

Mr. Knight, I am 100% sure that Mr. Knight is behind Rana's abduction, I was about to tell Vikram about Mr. Knight but at the same time, Tom walked into the room with the team of three doctors.

When Tom's gaze falls on me, he instantly ambles near me and looked at me with concerned filled eyes. I never see the fatherly concern on his face for me.

"How are you feeling Neha...?" I asked Tom. By looking at Tom's expressions I can say Tom is genuinely worried concerned about my health.

"I am fine... But my waist is aching so badly, " I said to Tom and he looked at all the three doctors.

I saw how the doctor gulped due to fear and instantly amble towards me to check my wound. I moaned so painfully and clasped the hand of Vikram so tightly when Doctor touched my waist.

"I f*****g told you to be careful...., " Tom roared on the doctors in rage and my moans died in the thin air. I never saw Tom this aggressive before.

Vikram rubbed my palm and calm me, "shshahs it's alright, " whispered Vikram in a soothing tone and I nodded my head but tears filled in my eyes because I am feeling so much pain in my waist.

I closed my eyes very tightly, "she needs proper bed rest for a month, and don't worry about the scar, " said Doctor to Tom and I opened my eyes.

Tom nodded his head and all the three doctors walked out of the ward.

"I am ready to go home with you..., " said Vikram, and I smiled at him. "Seriously, " I asked and he nodded his head.

Suddenly Rana thought appeared in my mind and I looked at Tom.  "Do you need anything Neha...?" Asked Tom and I nodded my head

"Where is Rana.... (Tom made an uncomfortable face, ) don't lie to me tom, I know you guys abducted him...," I asked Tom about Rana.

"You should take care of your health instead of asking about others, " said Hercules and walked into the room. His cold expressions are enough to scare anyone but I am habitual to his hard expressions and cold behavior towards me.

Hercules stands beside Tom and about to put his palm on my forehead to check my temperature but Vikram pushed Hercules's hand.

Rage appeared in Hercules's eyes and he looked at Vikram like he slapped him. Hercules held Vikram by his collar and pushed him away from me.

Vikram moaned in pain because he falls on his belly, I also screamed in pain because I tried to get up.

Hercules instantly look at me and pushed me on the bed once again. "Vikram..., " I screamed Vikram's name so loudly and start trying to wriggle out of Hercules's arms but he is holding me so tightly. 

"Stay still before I throw Vikram out of the ward and take you back to the USA, " roared Hercules and tears started rolling out of my eyes.

Hercules leaves me and ambles towards Vikram, I thought Hercules will hurt Vikram but no, he helped Vikram to get up.

"Call the doctor Tom, " said Hercules to Tom and took Vikram towards the couch.

Hercules pushed Vikram on the couch and raised his t-shirt gown to see Vikram's wound. "Next time if you try to push me away from my wife, I'll directly send you to the hell, " said Hercules and moved away from Vikram.

Vikram is looking in so much pain, I once again tried to get up but the saline bottle and loads of tubes are connected with my body.

"Mrs. Knight please don't get up your wounds are very much fresh, " yelled two doctors on me from the door that's when Hercules turned his gaze towards me, and in two long strode he stand near me.

"You...? How could you do that to him when you know he was shot..., " I yelled at Hercules in pain and about to pull all the tubes out of my body but Hercules held my hand very painfully and look into my eyes with so much rage.

I heard the scream of Vikram and I turned my gaze towards him "I have to stitch your wound once again sir, " said the doctor to Vikram and I started sobbing for him in pain.

"He is responsible for his pain, " said Hercules in an emotionless tone.

I look at Hercules with so much hate and disgust "may God rot you in hell," I said to Hercules because I am was blind by my anger.

Hercules ignored my anger and sit on my bed, I tried to move away from him with painful expressions but he wrapped his arm around my waist.

"How are you feeling now?" He asked me in a hard tone.

This guy is mental and he needs a doctor. There is no guilt on his face for what he had done with Vikram.

I moved my gaze from Hercules and look at Vikram who is already looking at me. I mounted Vikram ' sorry ' and he passed me a forced painful smile.

"I think you should go back to your Room, Sir" Doctor suggested but Vikram refused to go anywhere.

"I'll not leave her alone, s**t my bed in this room, " said Vikram

"This room is registered in my wife's name and I'll not allow you in the same room with my wife, " said Hercules in an arrogant tone.

"I am not your wife so stop calling me your..., " I instantly corrected Hercules in a very rude tone.

"Boss! Let him stay here for a night, " requested Tom to Hercules and his request made me astonished me.

Why the heck Tom is behaving so polite towards me. What's wrong with him?

Hercules got up and walked out of the room, he closed the door with a loud sound.

"May I know the reason behind your polite nature towards me tom?" I asked tom in a suspicious tone.

"I thought you'll be happy...., " said Tom but I made a cold face.

"That's not the answer to my question Tom, I can understand why your Dracula boss is concerned about my health but I am unable to understand your polite behavior towards me..., " I asked Tom in a clear tone.

Tom is hiding many things from me, he always behaves very mysteriously around me and he never talked to me politely before but his sudden polite nature towards me is making me so uncomfortable and suspicious.

"Hercules said you saved his life two days ago, " said Tom and that night appeared in my mind when a bullet hit me.

"Why those snipers wanted to kill your boss...?" I asked Tom but he didn't give me any reply nor I asked him again.

Two officers walked into the room and look around for Vikram, when their gaze fall on Vikram, they both saluted him.

"Did you guys find anything about Rana?" Asked Vikram to the officers and I looked at Tom but Tom walked out of the room.

"Sir we are unable to find any evidence about his addiction. It's difficult to say what happened to him, " said The of the officer.

"Why don't you check CCTV cameras, " I said to the officers, and they both looked at me.

"We find nothing in CCTV footage...., " said the officer.

"Then check the entire hospital, I am sure he is in hospital.  " I said to the officers in a confident tone.

"Why do you think, we'll find Rana inside the hospital, " asked the officer

"Because you said you guys didn't find anything in CCTV footage, and it's just my prediction maybe you can find some clue in the hospital and we can reach Rana, " I said to the officer in a confident tone.

"Do what the lady is saying..., " Vikram told the officers and they nodded their heads.

The doctor also finished bandaging Vikram, "sir, you need a proper rest.  Your movements will affect your recovery. " said Doctor, and Vikram nodded his head.

"I am sorry, " I said to Vikram in a guilty tone

" why you are saying sorry.... It wasn't your mistake, " said Vikram.
