Evelyn's POV
I don't know why. Staying by his side is at least keeping me sane. I was at verge of losing my own s**t as I was on the way here. Everything is a mess. The coronation, I am so scared about. William Brown turns out to be my mate. Whatever.
"Let me stay with you! No more hurt. I am sane. Let me be" I tell him again.
He seems so straight. No emotion is evident on his face. I wonder what is running through his mind.
"Let's leave" he whispers.
I close my eyes. Frustration slowly starting to build.
"I can leave on my own!" I say through my clenched teeth and stand up.
