“And most of all make sure that Queen Camilla and Alpha King Lucian will meet in the underground garden, by hook or by crook.”

“What’s in that underground garden?”Crane asked.

“The better question is where that underground garden is.”Amara said, and the royal grandchildren looked at her as if she was crazy.

“Please tell me you know where it was.”Seb said, and they all looked at Amara. But when Amara shrugged, everyone else groaned.

“The truth is, even your grandmother haven’t been able to find that place. She’s been really adamant on finding that place. Because for her, that place is magical. It’s the place where her parents met for the first time.”Amara said.

“If she hasn’t even managed to find it, what made you think that we’ll find it?”Zander asked.

“We can always look for it. I can find it in a flick of my wrist but Camilla doesn’t want my help. She wants to find it herself, but right now is different situation. It’s a matter of life and death.”Amara said, and then she walked towards the huge crystal ball in the middle of a small round table.

  Amara stood in front of the table, and then she began chanting some gibberish words. A few seconds later, the crystal ball lit up. It’s like a huge light bulb that dances in tune to what Amara was chanting.

  When the light fades, an image appeared in the crystal ball. They all approached the crystal ball and looked at the image. It looked like a cave, but it has plants, trees, flowers, and a stream.

“Wow.”

“Is that the place?”Shanaia asked.

“Looks like it. It fit the description in Camilla’s story.”Amara said.

“Her story? I thought she hasn’t seen it?”Fiero asked.

“Yes she hasn’t but she grew up being told by a story of how her parents met in that place.”Amara explained.

“And it was a huge part of her childhood.”Zari said.

“Yes. So you need to lead Queen Camilla and Alpha Lucian there. They should meet there, and get together.”Amara said.

“Now where can we find that?”Seb asked.

  Amara mumbled a few new incantations and the crystal ball showed a trail. It was a trail that leads towards the underground garden, and it was in the woods, but for Zari and her cousins, the place is unfamiliar.

“Where the hell is that place?”Lysandra asked, as they continue to watch the trail. And then they saw the familiar sound of the waterfalls.

“The trail that the crystal ball showed was the trail of the past. But if you plot it at this era, it’s the trail going towards the waterfalls in the woods.”Amara paused, and then she grinned.

“It’s been there all this time and Camilla never figured that out.”She added.

“Well I guess we haven’t explored the whole territory yet.”Crane said.

“I agree, and to think that we’ve just been here all our life.”Seb added.

“Remember the trail, for you will use that to –“

  Amara was cut off when she saw Fiero pulled out his cellphone and began recording what they are seeing in the crystal ball.

“Are you going to bring that in your mission?”Amara asked, and Fiero nodded.

“I cannot be without my phone.”Fiero said.

“Me too. My phone is my life line.”Zander said.

  Amara groaned and rubbed her forehead.

“You won’t be needing that there.”She stressed.

  Fiero and Zander looked at her.

“Trust us lady Amara, we’ll be needing it.”Fiero said and Zander nodded.

“Lady Amara, are there things that we need to know before we proceed with this mission?”Zari asked.

  Amara was about to answer but Henry came in her chamber.

“The first thing you need to know is that you should keep your head down.”He said, and they all looked at him.

“Why is that?”Seb asked.

“Royal and noble vampires that time thinks so highly of themselves. No one can look into the Queen’s eyes except her mate and daughter. The same for those stuck up nobles.”Henry said.

“Have you met them? The royals and nobles?”Shanaia asked.

“Yes, I was actually turned a few months before Lucas. So I met the former Queen Camilla, her own vampire council and some other noble vampires. But I never got the chance to meet Alpha King Lucian.”Henry explained.

“What was it like then?”Zander asked.

“It was strict. Your neck will hurt for looking down most of the time.”He answered.

  Shanaia pulled out her phone and began taking down notes.

“As long as you do what you were asked you are good. Feeding during that time was brutal. You really have to hunt for blood. And they only feed from the human source. But the Queen, she drinks from a glass. But the blood should be freshly harvested.”Henry told them.

“Were there any perverts there?”Lysandra asked, and everyone looked at her.

“What? I cannot afford someone touch me when my own mate haven’t even touched me yet.”Lysandra said, and Henry and Amara stared at her.

“We don’t need to know anything about you and Philip’s s*x life.”Fiero grumbled.

“Whatever.”

  Amara cleared her throat.

“Well, vampires have a very high libido. It means they have s*x a couple of times a day, and mind you... they don’t get tired.”Amara said.

“See, she knows.”Henry joked and Amara glared at him.

“But don’t worry. It’s highly forbidden to bed a woman against her will.”Henry said.

“Do we need to wear those big dresses that looked like lampshades?”Shanaia asked, and the Amara and Henry chuckled.

“Only the nobles dressed like that. But since you are posing as the Queen’s personal servants, you’ll be wearing mostly rags.”Amara answered.

“What?!”The girls exclaimed in unison.

“Just imagine Cinderella, you’ll be like her.”Amara said.

“For the guys...”Henry trailed and he turned towards the boys.

“Just think that you are there for training; a very intense and hard training. Lycan warriors are said to be the best warriors to ever walk the earth. They are really brutal, territorial and possessive.”He told them.

“If we are warriors in training how are we going to catch great grandpa’s attention?”Zander asked.

“Alpha Lucian is a great warrior. He knows a good warrior in one look. Make sure that you’d be that good warrior in that one look. You are all strong, gifted and smart, you’ll think of a way.”Amara said, and the boys nodded.

  Then Amara walked towards her bookshelf, and then she pulled a very old leather book.

“This book contains the information about everyone that lives in the old castle; the guards, the servants, the council, the adviser and the Queen. You need to keep that with you all the time, and study it.”Amara said, and then she handed the book to Zari. And then she turned towards the boys.

“As much as I want to give you something that can help you with the lycans, only your grandmother had the chance to mingle with them, and there’s nothing much written about them.”Amara said.

“No wait. I remember you have a book here where I’ve seen some infos about lycans.”Henry said, and then he went towards the book self.

  While he was rummaging the book shelf, Amara would just stare at him confused.

“I have a book?”She asked.

“You do. You might have just forgotten because it wasn’t really about the lycans but something else. The lycans were just partially mentioned.”Henry said, still looking through the rows of books.

  A few moments later, Henry pulled out an old worn out red book and Amara recognized it.

“Now I remember! I know that book! That’s my mother’s book about herbal plants that we witches use. The part where lycans were mentioned was the part where the book mentioned that their territory was filled with different herbal plants.”Amara said, and Henry handed the book to Fiero. Then he turned towards Amara.

“You’re being forgetful sweetheart.”Henry said, kissing the side of Amara’s head.

“Awww, so sweet.”The girls cooed.

“How long have you been together anyway?”Fiero asked.

  Henry smiled and wrapped his arm around Amara’s waist. Then he looked at Amara who was looking at him.

“Since the day when I met her. The day I knew she’s my beloved.”
