Chapter One

"All students, proceed to your respective classrooms. Orientation day 1 will begin shortly." announced by the school vice through the speakers.

It is exactly 7 o'clock in the morning nang makarating ako sa university. Classes starts at 7:30 and I guess I am a bit early this time. Last year ay parati akong late makapasok dahil late din akong nagigising.I always had trouble waking up in the morning, even though I sleep early at night.

It is the first day of this school year. It is my third year taking up business administration. Kung ako lang ang pumili para sa aaralin kong kurso ay sa dancing talaga ako papasok. I am a good dancer and I won lots of awards when I was still in high school. However, my parents asked me to study business administration because I have to manage our company in the future.

I am the only heiress of our company, the Huxley Restaurant. Our restaurant is one of the most famous and hottest tourist must visit place. Maraming foods and delicacies na inooffer ang restaurant namin kaya naman talagang naging sikat ito inside and outside the country. My mom worked hard for us to reach this success. I am more than willing na ipagpatuloy ang nasimulan niya. I want to make my mom proud of me at gusto ko din na alagaan ang kompanyang pinagpaguran niya.

I am also good at cooking and baking so I can still enjoy managing this company.

While in dancing, I still give some of my time to practice and dance. It would be a waste of talent kung hahayaan ko lang na hindi ko magamit ang dancing skills ko.

Pumasok na ako sa room namin. All I can see are familiar faces. Mostly, mga students na here before but I can't still distinguish who's who from my classmates. I am very bad at memorizing names.

"Good morning Amethyst!" Kiara shouted. Speaking of which, she has been one of my closest friends since first year.

I just smiled and waved my hand at her. Ayoko na makipag sigawan din sa kanya kaya hinintay ko na lang siya na makalapit bago ko siya kausapin.

Kiara Linn Maldeviera is the daughter of the University's Director, they own this school. Maldeviera University is one of the most prestigious schools in our country and only one thousand students can enroll each year. Those who are late to enroll and those who cannot afford the admission fee are out. The admission fee costs half a million per student, which is paid yearly. It's a bit pricey but worth all the penny.

This university has its laboratory for the future scientists, courtroom for the future lawyers and prosecutors, pool and field for athletes, studio and a room for singers and dancers, theater room for the future directors and artists, conference room for the business administration students, and operating room for future nurses and doctors.

It basically has everything each student in every course needs. The tools, equipment and the facilities.

"I miss you girl! Mas lalo ka pang naging pretty!" she said and giggles. She is so cute.

Kiara is the extroverted type, lahat siguro ay kilala at kaibigan niya. I sometimes want to have many friends too, pero mas gusto ko na kaunti lang ang mga kaibigan ko pero mga tunay. I don't need a lot of friends, sapat na sa akin na mayroong iilan na nariyan kapag kailangan ko sila.

I smiled at her. "Ikaw din, you look beautiful sa brown hair mo." She colored her hair brown, it was originally black. Bagay sa kanya, mas lalo siyang pumuti tignan. "So, how's life?" I asked her.

She rolled her eyes and said, "Same as before, wala namang bago bukod sa mas gumanda ako lalo!" She said while laughing at hinampas ang braso ko. Ouch.

"I heard na parati ka raw may night out?" I asked her. May isang beses kasi na tumawag ako sa kanya but her phone was off kaya I called her mom to ask if nasa bahay na siya and she said na umalis si Kiara and that she's been going out every night the whole summer break.

"Yes! I was partying with friends! I was just enjoying the vacation, and naghahanap na rin ng engineer." She said while smiling widely.

I furrowed my brows. "Why would you need an engineer? May ipapagawa ba kayong bahay?" I asked, still confused. They have a beautiful house. Well, mansion. It is a huge one. I remember one time going to their house, naligaw pa ako.

Our house is big too, but their house is bigger.

"Gagawin kong asawa para libre na gawa ng bahay." Natatawang sabi niya.

I laughed at her silly thoughts. Para namang hindi niya afford na magbayad para magpatayo ng bahay. Sometimes, hindi ko maintindihan kung anong tumatakbo sa isip nitong si Kiara.

She is sometimes handful but one thing for sure, she is kind-hearted.

"Do you like engineers?" Tanong ko sa kanya. Hindi ko kasi alam ano ang tipo ni Kiara pagdating sa lalaki. Marami na akong nakitang mga nakakausap niya at nasasabi niya na fling niya, pero wala pa siyang pinapakilala na official boyfriend niya.

"Hindi, mga anak ng heneral gusto ko. Ibibigay mo ba yung iyo?" Nanunudyong sabi niya.

"No way." Sabi ko at nag form pa ng x-sign gamit ang mga kamay ko. Natawa naman si Kiara at hinampas na naman ako. Kung pwede lang talagang pumutol ng kamay ay ginawa ko na. Mabuti na lang at hindi ganoon kalakas ang mga hampas niya.

My boyfriend Blake is the general's son. His father serves the country and he loves his family so much, kaya sobrang protective din niya kay Blake. Isa sa mga dahilan kung bakit, ay ang pagkamatay ng dalawang kapatid ni Blake dahil sa mga terorista. It was painful lalo na at magkasabay silang namatay, it was a sudden attack. They were eating sa isang restaurant when some guy shot his brothers to death multiple times.

Blake was with me that time, we were celebrating our 1st anniversary together. It was a blessing in disguise na hindi siya nakasama dahil siguradong mababaril din siya kapag nakita siyang nandoon. He had a hard time when that happened, and I stayed with him to comfort him and to remind him that he still have me, na lagi akong mananatili sa tabi niya. That he did not lose everyone, I will be his companion and partner for life.

Pagkatapos noon ay mas lalong naging mahigpit ang security ni Blake. He have like six bodyguards when he goes out, including when we are on our date. It is uncomfortable but it is for his safety kaya ako na ang nag-adjust. We rarely have private time alone because his father won't allow it, gusto niya na parating nakasunod ang mga bodyguards kung saan man pupunta si Blake.

There is one time that we are out on a date and one of the terrorist tried to shoot Blake. Good thing na hindi siya natamaan, his bodyguards are there to protect him. Malaki ang galit nila sa tatay ni Blake because his father killed the family of those terrorist na nagtangkang pumatay at magnakaw sa mga kabahayan na nasa tagong parte ng bayan. It was a command from the president, so his father had to obey it. That caused a huge stir sa buhay ng pamilya nila.

Minsan natatakot rin ako para sa safety ni Blake, but he always assures me that he will take care of himself and that he will take care of me too. At first, I was scared and hesitant, but I chose to trust him. He loves me dearly, and I love him just as much, maybe a little more. I know that he will keep his word.

Blake on the other hand is studying law, he plans to become a prosecutor. His dream is to put every criminal behind bars. He is in his fourth year, graduating this school year.

We are studying in the same school, we are just a few buildings apart dahil malawak ang university. Nalulungkot ako na hindi ko na siya makakasama sa university sa susunod na taon, pero para naman sa pangarap niya 'yun kaya ayos lang sa akin kahit na hindi na kami parating magkikita.

"Good morning students! First day of orientation was to have fun and get to know each other more. Second day's objective is to meet your professors for every subject and to have brief information about their respective subjects. Third day will be at the Louvriech Bar to celebrate a new year in college. That is all, enjoy the orientation." the school president stated.

Our school president for four years straight is Hugo. He is the top student, and he is a genius. I have never seen him leave without a book in his hand. He is not the nerdy type, he is handsome enough to have gorgeous girlfriends, but he doesn't seem to have an interest in dating. He would never talk unless it is really necessary or part of his duty. Minsan napapaisip ako kung hindi ba napapanis yung laway niya sa sobrang tahimik niya.

Blake and I usually ditch the orientation days so we can have fun on our own. I guess that is what will happen this year as well.

Since I have no plans on getting to know each of my classmates, I would just spend the rest of the day with Blake. Kailangan na sulitin ko na ang mga oras na makakasama ko siya sa university, dahil wala na siya dito sa susunod na taon.

"Ki, sa rooftop lang ako." Paalam ko sa kaniya, baka bigla akong hanapin.

She just nodded and continued talking to our classmates. She really is the friendly type. Hindi ba sila nauubusan ng pinag uusapan?

Naglakad na ako papunta sa rooftop habang nagtatype ng message para kay Blake.

I'll be at the rooftop, come if you are bored.

Nang makarating na ako sa rooftop, humawak ako sa railings at dumungaw. This school is so magnificent. Even the rooftop is extraordinary, it has benches and umbrellas so students can be comfortable sitting and relaxing here.

But this time of the day, no one is here. One reason is that, it is still class hours. Two, students would like to go to the school park instead of here. Mas maraming pumupunta doon dahil sa mga athletes na gumagawa ng mga training nila. And lastly, this is where Blake and I spend our time the most when we are in school. The school is a safe place for Blake since the security here is very high, no one can enter without an id card and fingerprint password.

I flinched when I felt someone hugged me from behind. Kaya naman napaharap ako at handa ng sigawan kung sino man ang humawak sa akin.

"Relax baby, it's me." he said and kissed my cheek which sent a thousand volts of electricity on my body. He still has that effect on me even after two years of dating.

"I told you to make a sound before you approach me, nagugulat ako sayo eh." I told him and he laughed as a response. Handsome. Lumalabas yung mga dimples niya sa pisngi kapag tumatawa siya at ngumingiti.

"I'm sorry." he said while still laughing. "It's just that," putol na sabi niya at marahang hinatak ako palapit sa kanya. "You look cute when you are surprised." sabi niya at marahang hinaplos ang aking pisngi.

That made me blush. I don't know how to respond kaya I just rolled my eyes at him which made him laugh again. Ang saya niya masyado ha. Halatang gustong gusto niya akong naiinis.. at kinikilig dahil sa kanya.

"So, you want to skip this orientation as well?" he asked while still touching my cheek.

I hugged his waist and nodded. "Yes, I want to spend some more time with you." I said and looked behind him. "Where are your bodyguards?" I asked.

"I told them to wait downstairs, two guys are left behind the door guarding." he answered.

I smiled and tiptoed to kiss him. I encircled my arms around his neck and kissed him passionately.

Hindi na ako nahihiya na maunang humalik sa kanya dahil ilang beses na naman itong ginawa. At first, I was shy. He was my first kiss and I want him to be my last too.

I felt his left hand on my back hugging me, while his right hand was on my neck pulling my face closer to him.

He deepened the kiss and slightly bit my lower lip which made me moan.

Tumigil siya sa paghalik sa akin at ako naman ay habol ang hininga na tinignan siya. I saw his brown eyes darkened.

"What's wrong?" I asked but he was just looking at my eyes down to my lips. I unconsciously licked my lower lip and looked away. He is making me feel shy.

"Your moan is giving me a f*cking boner." sinabi niya na ikinagulat ko. A what?

I was about to answer him when he suddenly grabbed my butt, pushing me closer to him while kissing my lips hungrily.

He started to walk and sat on the bench while I am sitting on his lap, my legs are on his both sides. I can feel his hardness in between my legs. His hands are still on my butt, slightly moving my body up and down, hitting his bulge and I can feel it becoming even more harder.

I let his sinful tongue explore my mouth, while his hands are squeezing my butt.

I can feel my body heating up dahil sa mga ginagawa niya sa akin.

Naramdaman ko na umangat ang kamay niya papunta sa mga butones ng suot kong blouse. Akmang aalisin niya na ang pagkakabutones noon ng biglang tumunog ang school bell, tanda na tapos na ang orientation.

Bumitaw si Blake sa pagkakahawak sa blouse ko at niyakap ako ng mahigpit habang nakaupo pa rin ako sa mga hita niya.

"I love you, I'm sorry I touched you." He said while tapping my back.

Blake never touched me like that before, he was always patient. He respects me a lot. He would always ask me for permission, simula noong nanliligaw pa lang siya sa akin hanggang ngayon ay nirerespeto niya pa rin ang mga opinyon at desisyon ko. That is one of the many reasons why I fell in love with him.

I can still remember when we had our first kiss, he asked me for my permission too. Noong una ay hindi niya pa masabi na gusto niya akong halikan. Kahit ako ay wala pang karanasan sa ganoong bagay noon. That is why Blake always takes things slow. Iisipin niya muna kung okay lang ba sa akin bago niya gawin ang isang bagay na kasama ako.

"No, don't apologize." I said and hugged him back. "It was.. uhm.. w-wonderful." Putol putol na sabi ko na ikinatawa niya.

Humiwalay siya sa pagkakayakap sa akin at hinalikan ako sa noo. "Hindi ko alam kung matutuwa ba ako o maiinis sa sagot mo." Sabi niya at ginulo ang buhok ko. It took me 20 minutes to fix that earlier tapos ginulo lang niya.

I looked at him with confused eyes. "Why?" I asked him. Bakit naman siya maiinis? Sinabi ko na nga na wonderful yung nangyari, even though it is my first time doing that. I actually felt shy but it feels good too. Everything that I do with him is dreamy.

Namula ang pisngi ko nang maalala ang ginawa namin kanina. Gosh, hindi man lang ako pumalag. Ang landi ko. Sigurado ako na mahahampas na naman ako ni Kiara kapag naikwento ko ito sa kanya.

"Because you were stuttering when you answered, hindi ko alam kung maniniwala ako na wonderful ba talaga yung performance ko o hindi." He said and slightly scratch his neck.

"Performance? Saan ka nag perform at kailan?" I asked, still confused. Wala naman siyang ginawang performance, he did not sing or dance. May iba bang performance na nangyari na hindi ko nakita?

He stared at me for a second and started laughing, again. May nakakatawa ba sa sinabi ko? Tinitigan ko lang siya ng masama habang hinihintay siya na matapos tumawa.

Nung tumigil na siya ay hinawakan niya ang magkabilang pisngi ko at tinitigan ako ng mabuti. Para akong malulunod sa mga titig niya.

"Amethyst, baby. You are so innocent that it makes me want to protect you even more. I am sorry that I touched you earlier. I promised myself that I would never take advantage of your innocence until the time is right, but hearing your moan was not really helpful in keeping my promise. So, I beg you to please stop moaning." He said and it sounded like it was really painful.

Pulang pula naman ang pisngi ko dahil sa mga sinabi niya. Hindi ko rin kasi inaasahan na mapapaungol ako kanina. It is my first time feeling that kind of sensation in my body kaya I can't stop the moan from coming out of my mouth.

"I.. am.. uhm.. It's fine, I won't do that again." I said to him habang hindi pa rin makatingin ng diretso sa kanya. Nahihiya pa rin ako sa pag-ungol ko kanina. He was partially responsible dahil kasalanan niya kung bakit ako umungol!

"Come on now baby, look at me." He held my chin up to meet his gaze. "You can do that again, just not now and not with anyone else. Okay?" He said and kissed the tip of my nose.

I nodded as a response. I never intended to do anything special with anyone else but him.

He hugged me again and I hugged him back. "I love you, baby. Always remember that." He said before kissing the top of my head.

I nodded again and hugged him tighter. "I will. I love you too, always and forever."

God, I love this man so much.
