Chapter 3Thad glanced over his shoulder as he turned toward the door leading down to the old train tunnels. The wind tore at his coat, making him shiver. He hoped Jaecar would pick up on a trace he’d be able to track, but he hoped it didn’t lead here. Ms. Davis had worked in the railroad restaurant, but the tunnels were a of couple miles away from the old station, so hopefully, she hadn’t been here.
