Chapter 4“Babysitting?” Alexia asked with a sneer when Griff sat down beside her at the bar. Griff shook his head. “Not really. I figured since I offered to drive him down here, I might as well stick around and enjoy the scenery for a while.” He looked across the room and smiled, pointing out a particularly well-built man in a muscle shirt who was leaning against the wall by the dance floor. “What do you think of him?” Alexia frowned as she turned to look. “Not bad I suppose, for a human.” “So pick someone better.” She gazed around then nodded towards another man. “Less bulky.” They continued the game for a few minutes then she whirled around to look at Griff. “Brad can’t have him, he belongs to me. You distracted me but…” “I wasn’t distracting you, or at least that wasn’t the idea.”
