I went home after we returned from school. I walked into the house to see Mom waiting for me.
"You got suspended on the first day."
"In my defense, Bradley started it."
"Tori, it's the first day." Mom gave me a look that all kids get from their parents.
"Should I let Bradley mistreat me?"
"No, but getting suspended on the first day doesn't work. Since you can't control yourself, I got you a babysitter."
