Stella Lockheed The infirmary was like something out of a medical drama, except without the cool drama part. It was all white walls and bright lights, making me feel like I was under a spotlight. The smell of disinfectant was so strong it practically stung my nose. I lay there on the bed, clutching the blanket like it was my lifeline. It was comfy, at least, and it gave me something to hold onto in this strange place. When my mates and Willow had finally left, the room felt like it was mine again. The eerie vibes from the alley still lingered, but at least I had a moment of peace. Headmistress Mooncrest was a regal presence, as always.
