MALIKA’S POV
It was early afternoon when we pulled up beside the castle. Karla came racing out and surprisingly engulfed me in a hug.
I returned her embrace. “I’m sorry my Alpha Queen, but I missed you something fierce. Forgive me.” She said and I just laughed.
“It’s fine Kar, I missed you too, though I was kept pretty busy while I was there,” I said, and she nodded knowingly.
She looked towards the trailer. “How has your mate travelled?” She asked.
“Yeah pretty well, he only woke up the once but settled down when he smelt me. Could you please show me his new temporary home? I want to get him settled as soon as possible,” I said.
I wanted to get my mate into a nicer environment before he woke up again, as I really did not want to have to sedate him again.
