MALIKA’S POV
We left the office and started to make our way to the hospital to see Donna. Karla, Ward and Ramon were leading the way, Sybil’s twins were behind them and Tor, Sybil and I were bringing up the rear.
I couldn’t help but notice the closer we got to the hospital the stranger Orion was acting. “Is Orion OK?” I asked Sybil quietly. She was standing to one side of me and Tor to the other side.
“He does seem to be reacting unusually, but if I’m not mistaken, he is picking up on his given,” she said nonchalantly, like it’s a common occurrence for one of your children to find their life partner in an unfamiliar kingdom.
