ALBATORA'S POV
I woke with a start covered in sweat from yet another nightmare. It was hard dealing with the images while I was awake, but they were much worse when I was asleep.
My body had healed completely as I slept, so I should be able to start working my body to get my muscles back in peak form.
I shifted back to human form and rolled over to find my mate was no longer in the room. I scented the air and her scent was quite faded, she must have been gone a while.
I stiffly climbed out of the bed and stretched. I was still really stiff and clumsy. I used the bathroom and tried my best to have a shower.
Fortunately, they had brought a chair in for me to use whilst I showered, as I still struggled to stay standing whilst trying to also wash my body. I managed to get myself clean
