Drake wanted to leave the two women to talk, for Tarryn to make her explanations to her friend, but he was still uneasy about leaving Tarryn alone with anyone. Not just for their safety, but also the fear that someone would do something to cause harm or take Tarryn. It baffled him that the situation had gotten so chaotic. He didn’t know he wanted or needed someone to love until he met Tarryn.
He wanted to listen to her wishes and not turn her, but his greed of wanting her around allowed him to talk her into the transition. And then she turned, and she was pregnant due to drinking his blood, and now people were going to be after her and she was a wild card still.
