AT THE SAME TIME

AT XAVIER'S POW:

I am happy that most of them got something useful. We are going to use everything we can to make sure that we are going to win. I want to protect this place. I love my castle and royal stuff, but this place also slowly becoming my home. I do not want to lose it.

-So what are we going to do?-Kim asked.

-We need to build some kind of barricades.-One of them said.

-We don't have enough time.-Another said.

-I got an idea.-One woman said after she raised her hand.

-What idea?-I asked.

-If you know what a treehouse is, you are going to understand me.-She said, and I nodded. -Well, we could build a watching post on the high tree where we need a rope to climb up. If the enemy goes after us, we could just kill it.-She said.

-You mean by cutting the rope, Ella?-One of them asked.

-Yes. That is going to help us see around the town without getting noticed by them. We live in the woods, after all. -Ella said, and I nodded.

-That sounds like a good plan.-Hikari said, and I nodded.

-We still got think of the other protection parts since that not enough.-Kim said.

-We can use weapons and those bullets that Hikari mentioned before.-Nick said.

-I agree, but we still need some plan.-I said.

It took us about three hours to finally get all the plans settled. I am happy that everyone agreed to fight. We still are going to need those herbs. I am going to help Hikari since I know they are important.

-We can do it tonight?-I asked.

-Of course. As I said, today is the perfect plan.-Hikari said.

-I am glad to hear it.-I said and smiled.

I took Hikari's hand and left. We are probably going to need to walk for a while, so I am going to use my wolf form. I need everything to get ready as fast as I can. I need to make sure that everything goes like we have planed because I do not like unexpected surprises.

-We can use my wolf from.-I said.

-But you can walk by a human.-She said with a confused tone.

-I meant that you can ride me. You are my familiar, but I want to help these people.-I said and she nodded.

I took my top off and turn into my wolf form. I missed using it and I lowed my back down so she could get on top of me. I smiled and waited until she sat down.

-Hold on!-I growled, and she nodded. I ran off. -Show me direction.

-By the river, near the end of the territory.-She said, and I nodded before sprinting off. I wonder if Hikari went there every time when Hikari wanted herbs. I mean, it is quite a big journey from here.

-Do you walk there often?-I asked.

-I only go there a few times a year since it's the time when they are blooming.-She said.

I nodded and kept running. It took us less than an hour to reach that spot. I stopped a lot of pink petal flowers with red middle blooming in the night sky. I realized that is a night howl. They are poisonous for my kind and sometimes deadly. I am pretty sure that is a reason why Hikari is using them.

-How you know about them? Only my kind knows it.-I said and made her sit down before turning into a human.

-I learned a lot of things about becoming a hunter and sometimes an assassin.-She said.

-So you have killed for money?-I asked.

-I was doing it. I stopped before we met. I mean, they still have my contracts bit I stopped taking orders.-She said.

I watched how she started picking up flowers, and I smiled. I was surprised how she has started picking them one by one. It probably takes a lot of time to get them.

-Can I help?-I asked.

-You can, but don't touch green leaves. I have antidote only at home.-She said and smiled.

-I understood that. I also do not want to get poisoned.-I said and started gathering them.

It took us two hours to get enough petals.

-So you are doing this sometimes?-I asked.

-I am. I know that might look dumb, but it's a pretty good thing.-Hikari said.

-I agree, Hikari. I only thought that you know how to fight. That thing have made you more, awesome.-I said while smiling.

-Thank you, Xavier.-She said and smiled.

-I think we got everything that we needed, right?-I asked.

-I think that you are right.-Hikari said, and I smiled.

-I am happy that we have everything. Hop back on me, and we can go home.-I said and smiled.

I waited until she jumped on my back, and we left back home. It took us some time to reach home, and after that, both of us walked to the outside kitchen. I watched how she started to make that liquid. It looked simple, but I know that I would mess it up.

First, she dropped all the petals into a small pot and poured an equal amount of water. After that, she started to cook the liquid until it boiled in half amount that was before. I watched how she kept putting different ingredients into a pot and mixing it while humming something. She does look a little like a witch at this point.

-What is the next step?-I asked while smiling.

-We have to let it cool down and then mix it with the last ingredient. After that, I am going to pour into special shapes with gell to harden and then put inside of bullets. When it hits the skin, liquid melts, and then poison hits that wolf's body. It takes about thirty seconds to see the effect. It works with humans, but a bit different, so I was using it at my work too.-Hikari said, and I nodded.

I helped her finish make those poison arrows, and that was the last thing we needed to do before fighting with those werewolves. I can wait to win this war and save this town once and for all.
