AT THIRD PERSON'S POW:

After breakfast, Xavier and Hikari left for that town. After they reached the town center, both of them noticed that something strange is going on. Most of the people are sad.

-What happened to them?-Xavier asked.

-I have no idea.-Hikari said. -Kim, what happened?

-Hi Hikari and Xavier. The main problem is since the last week food sources got drastically low and in our territories is getting harder to find food. For everyone that is a big problem, and some of the families are starving because of it.-Kim said.

-What about a nearby town? Like a Black Blood?-Hikari asked.

-It's hard to be the same, but when we tried to visit appeared that they had to build a fence around them.-Kim said.

-I am sure they have enough food since other parts of the country are helping them. Since we are from the 'banished' town, the country government is not helping us.-Chloe said.

-I think we still are going to able to figure out something.-Kim said.

-I agree with it.-Hikari said, and Xavier nodded.

-I am going for a hunt. Maybe I will be able to find a big animal. -Xavier said and left.

AT THE SAME TIME

AT XAVIER'S POW:

What in the world is going on? Food resources are getting lower, but they need some food to survive. I am getting worried about everyone, even me and Hikari. It took me a few hours to finally catch an animal. After I bought him inside of the town, I was looking for my familiar. I saw Hikari, who was talking to the others. She looks pretty worried.

-You are finally back.-Kim. -We were worried.

-I am not a weak person. I know that you might were thinking that way, but I am not weak.-I said.

-We were not thinking that way about you, Xavier.-Kim said.

-Some problems have appeared again, and we simply want for you to be safe.-Chloe said.

-What kind of problems?-I asked.

-Remember when we were telling you about rogues? They have shown up again.-Kim said.

After I heard that, I growled. Our family has fought with them many times, and they returned again. That might also explain why there is s less food. Rogues are pretty disgusting, and I remember how my father took care of one of their packs. I want to help him to do it again, but since I was kicked out of the castle, I want to help those people. They seem to be nice, and kind.

-What is Hikari doing right now?-I asked.

-She was making something to eat and now talking about town protection. In the last fight, some of the houses got burned and she doesn't want that to happen before the winter.-Kim said.

-Can you show me where she is right now?-I asked.

-Of course. -Close said, and I handed Nino a deer before leaving.

I kept following her until I reached the meeting place. I saw Hikari standing with hands on her hips, and looking at them pretty annoyed.

-We need to have a plan if we want to save the others! We can not let them get harmed.-Hikari said.

-Why we can not ask for help from other people?-One of them asked.

-Because they are not going fuc**ng to help us!-Hikari said with a loud tone.

-We are from the 'banished' town, but if we lose they will attack them.-Other person said.

-They will get needed time to prepare because they don't give a s**t about us!-Hikari said loudly, and I almost could hear her growl.

-Hikari, don't tell me you want to fight again!-One of the females said.

-The hell I will! I am only one here who fought them before!-Hikari said.

-Not only that. We remember when you told us about your past.-One of the man said.

-I am glad you remember it.-Hikari said.

-Hikari, last time you got almost deadly injured. They are wolves, and you are a human!-Another female said.

-I don't give a s**t! I killed more of them than they ever injured me!-She said with a mad tone.

At this moment, I could feel the tension building up. She looks so mad, and that made Hikari look a bit dangerous at this moment. I want to know more about her past, and not only because she is familiar of mine. First, I need to protect them then I can fight for my family's throne.

-What is going on?- I asked, finally stepping inside of the room.

-Finally, you are here, Xavier. Tell your friend that she can not fight it.-One of the females said.

-She never told me that she got injured or something.-I said.

-Take a look at her back, and you see what we are talking about.-One of the elders said and frowned.

I looked at Hikari, and she gave me a death look. I need to see that scar, maybe using my alpha's powers, I will be able to heal it. She is my familiar, and I can make her listen to me whatever she does not want to.

-Can we talk about it later? I bought a deer here, so go to cook it, and we return at the meeting in the evening.-I said.

-We agree with that.-One of the elders said, and I smiled.

I took her hand and walked off. I need to take her back home and talk about everything. She can not hide that type of thing from me.

***Back at Hikari's and Xavier's home**

I sat down on the bed and made her sit down close to me. She looks pretty mad, but I do not care. I need to find more information before I could choose the next step.

-Tell me to about your scar. I want to know where it is.-I said.

-I won't show you.-She said, and I frowned.

-I can use my powers to do it.-I said, and Hikari frowned.

-Fine.-She said and sighed.

I watched how she took off her top, and I saw her scar. It was all over her left since, and I got curious about what happened to her.

-What is going on, Hikari?-I asked.

-I don't want to talk about it.-She said.

-Tell me what happened, it is not like I can change something.-I said.

-Rogue attack they have mentioned before.-Hikari said, and I sighed.

-That is why they don't want you to fight?-I asked.

-Mhm.-She said, and I nodded.

They only want her to be alright. If our training worked, she should be good to face them. We still are going to need others help, but that we can talk about in the evening.
