Chapter Six The next morning, there was a problem with the boat that required Sean’s attention and he apologized to Lauren for having to postpone their trek to her new station. It was actually a relief. After her night of fantasy, she didn’t need him staring her in the face all day long. A day in the jungle by herself, she hoped to be free of the annoying matter by the time she rejoined the crew that evening. But it was a restless day with clouds stirring overhead as though they were noxiously foreshadowing some dreadful event.
