The Reign of the Alpha Warrior.

The pain of death

Annalease and Mark walked into the Ball room that was now for the most filled with happy couple's. As they made their way to the stage the music stopped getting everyone's attention. As they saw the King and Queen step to the stage they all bowed in respect. Behind them Warriors quietly filled the room behind them closing in on Alpha Zane in case there was an issue with the announcement.

Annalease and Mark walked to the front taking the microphone as everyone stood quietly waiting. Annalease began as tears formed in her eyes. "May I have everyone's attention please. Sadly I must end tonight's ball. For we have just been informed and verified that the warriors have indeed found our daughter Princess Helena Grace who died drowning trying to save the lives of two newborns. In her arms wrapped in the only thing dry was a newborn Dragon and a newborn Wolf. Both only hours old. They are now in the care of our royal vet" Annalease told them watching as Alpha Zane started to get restless. Tears streamed down her face but she still held her head high as she watched the Alphas every move. Mark stepped up to the microphone and took over for a moment. "We will have Helena Grace's memorial tomorrow and of course it shall be open to the public to pay their respects as well. We will be cancelling all other events for this weekend due to the death of our daughter which everyone can understand" Mark explained. Heads nodded in agreement and tears fell for the Princess. Mark made certain that Annalease was ready as he handed her the microphone as he linked the warriors and Cameron and Jake to stand ready and be prepared for anything. Jake and Cameron along with Fiona and Margaret made their way to Cassie undetected as everyone was focused on the King and Queen waiting for them to finish the announcement. Annalease began again while watching Fiona and them getting closer to Cassie. Once they were close enough Annalease said "We also were informed of the names of the four others that were found in the river during the search" This grabbed everyone's attention. They knew of three bit not four. "The first one was a female. She was nineteen. Her name was Nicola Harris " Annalease announced. she watched as Fiona quickly placed a spell on Cassie making her cone quietly with them. "She will be right back I just need to borrow her for a second" Fiona said to Alpha Zane as he heard the name of his dead mate he looked up staring Annalease dead in the eyes. Guilt written all over his face Annalease thought as she continued. "She was with child which makes the fourth victim of murder. For Nicola's death was his as well. The other two were a couple. Years they spent together only to be murdered and tossed into the river. These two were no other than the late Along Cornelius Zane And his mate Luna Winter Zane of the Rebel Pack" Annalease announced. Alpha Zane looked for a way out wishing that Cassie was back to use for protection. He was beginning to panic as he saw the warriors escorting the guests out of the room and encircling him. Annalease continued "Alpha Zane you are hereby arrested for the murder of your parents and your mate, also for the helping of humans for hunting and capturing of supernaturals. Your pack has now been searched and you are no longer an Alpha. I hereby remove your Alpha title immediately. Alpha Zane fell to his knees as his power left his body leaving him defenseless. No powers, no strength, not even the strength to stand at the moment. The warriors quickly took him into custody and Mark along with Jake and Cameron went to interrogate him. Annalease linked Marcus and Alexandria to come. She needed to let them know the knees of Helena Grace. They were out of the country. Marcus was helping to uncover the smuggling ring while Alexandria and the boys went sight seeing. Annalease could use Marcus for the interrogation. After linking them they shimmered back. The bags of blood were waiting. Six for each since it was a long distance.

After hugging Annalease and checking to make sure she was ok Mark left to go help the guys with Alpha Zane.They needed to find out who the humans were to put a stop to this once and for all. At least this ring anyway. Alexandria wrapped Annalease in her arms hugging her best friend as she cried for the loss of her daughter. Mary Beth seeing the boys come up the stairs ran to see her mom. She saw Annalease crying and stopped in her tracks. The children had not been told of their sister's death yet. One look at her mom Mary Beth knew what had happened and it hit her like a ton of bricks. She knew why they were crying. Mary Beth screamed ,"No" so loud windows shattered and the light bulbs exploded. She only did this one other time that she could remember. Glass was shattering all around Mary Beth. Things began flying through the air. Mary Beth had evidently unlocked a new power that she could not control. Alexandria attempted to get to her daughter to cover her from the flying debris and shattered glass. However the more hurt and pain that set in to Mary Beth the stronger the power became. Alexandria was hit with a tv as it flew through the air. Both the tv and Alexandria were thrown against the wall. It began to look like a hurricane with the strongest of winds inside of the palace walls. Annalease had to get her to calm down and focus on controlling her power. Annalease sent a mental picture of Mary Beth and Helena Grace on the swings. She told Mary Beth to focus on the picture and remember the fun that they had that day playing. If pain and hurt was what triggered the power than the opposite should help her control it. Annalease quickly linked everyone telling them to stay where they were until she said other wise.

Mary Beth tried to do what her mom asked her. To try to concentrate on the picture. She thought about that day as they played on the equipment outside. They took turns pushing each other on the swings. They also came up with some silly songs. Mary Beth laughed thinking of these songs. "1 little frog, 2 little ducks went 3 miles to a 4 way cross where 5 little birds sang 'Now you have seen the 5singing birds now Get back home be 4 you 3 get 2 lost and no 1 can find you" Mary Beth sang laughing still. The flying things fell to the floor and it all calmed down. All Annalease could hear now was Mary Beth singing and laughing. She quickly checked on Alexandria to make sure she was ok. They both walked over to Mary Beth who was still singing the silly song. "Are you better now Mary Beth?" Alexandria asked her daughter. She nodded her head. "Since Helena Grace is gone now who are Timmy and I going to protect now? Do I go home with you and the boys now?" Mary Beth asked sadly. Annalease hadn't thought of this. She looked at Mary Beth and said "Well that will be your decision now Mary Beth. You can go with them or you can stay and protect the other four. You belong here just as much as any of us do, but I will understand if that is what you want to do" Annalease said with her heart breaking even more. She knew what Mary Beth was going to decide and it would be like losing another daughter in the same day. But she would stand by her no matter what and she would always be Princess Mary Beth. Mary Beth looked at both of her mom's as the boys called her name to come play with them. "I think I want to go back home to the coven for a while or wherever you guys are going." Mary Beth said. Alexandria smiled at her daughter happy that she finally wanted to come home for a while. "Ok Mary Beth you can. We can come back as often as you like, or if you decide you want to come back to stay you can. No one will get mad at you I promise" Alexandria explained. Annalease agreed. Mary Beth needed to get away from the madness of the palace and live normally for a while. She deserved this. "We will be leaving for Brazil after the service tomorrow. Your father has some work to do there so we can have some fun while he works ok?" Alexandria told her. Annalease told Mary Beth to go pack her bags. Not everything just yet, just some of her things. "You all will be needing the jet to say the least, with all I'm sure she plans on taking. " Annalease said trying to laugh. Alexandria knew how hard this was for her. "She will be back Annalease, she just needs to get away for a bit I believe. I don't think it's going to take her long before she realizes just how much she misses everyone. "Moms can I bring Tsunami?" Mary Beth yelled asking about one of the Wolf pups. Annalease answered yes, as Alexandria yelled no. Both women laughed at the other. "No Mary Beth it's not a good idea considering what your dad is working on" Alexandria yelled up to her explaining. Annalease forgot he was working on the smuggling ring for supernaturals and sided with Alexandria. "She is right " Annalease answered as Mark and Marcus walked in wondering what was going on while looking at the mess.

"Mary Beth will be leaving is tomorrow to go spend time with her other family"Annalease said. Mark looked like he was going to vomit at the thought of losing another daughter. Marcus patted his shoulder. "I give her a week and she will be crying to come back. She just needs to get her mind straight right now. It will do her some good. But the boys will drive her insane by the second night." Marcus said laughing. Happy to finally get to see his daughter for more than just a visit.

Timmy came out of his room. He had been on there crying. Annalease gave him a hug. "Is Mary Beth really leaving?" He asked. Annalease nodded sadly. "THATS NOT FAIR, I DONT WANT TO LOSE HER TOO" he yelled and started to try to run but his cast wouldn't let him. It didn't stop him from walking out of the door upset. Annalease looked at Mark wondering whether they should go after him or not. Mark shook his head no. "Let him calm down for a few minutes and get some fresh air " That was before the heard the roaring of a side by side, and Timmy flying out of the garage in it sideways. Mark shifted and let Hurricane take control to go after him. Tornado came barreling down the stairs as well to go after him. Annalease stood there frozen in place remembering that this is what happened right before Helena Grace started to age so fast. Alexandria hugged her and whispered they would catch Timmy before anything could happen to him. Mary Beth felt bad for hurting Timmy. She went I to his room and sat and waited for him to return before she packed. She had to know he would be ok if she left.

.Tornado came in about fifteen minutes later carrying A fighting Timmy by his shorts. "PUT ME DOWN MUTT!" Timmy yelled. Tornado just shook him like a dog with a toy by the seat of his shorts. Timmy gave up fighting the huge wolf. It was pointless. "Take him on up to his room Tornado. Thank you for bringing him back unhurt this time" Annalease said as the wolf took him to his room. Mark came in with every key to every side by side and vehicle outside. "These will now be kept under lick and key and Timmy is not to ever have one. He made it all the way to the other palace before Izzy and AK stopped him because he almost hit their truck head on." Mark said angrily. Marcus and Alexandria excused themselves to get ready for bed. It had been a long day and Mark and Annalease needed some time alone.

When Tornado shut Timmy in his room he was surprised to see Mary Beth sitting in there. "You ain't gone yet" Timmy asked hatefully. "No, I figured I'd stay to watch you get your butt beat by Tornado." Mary Beth said laughing. "That mutt didn't beat my butt" Timmy said. "No, but he carried you by it, same thing" Mary Beth said laughing so hard she fell out of the chair she was sitting in. Timmy laughed at her helping her up to her feet. "Why do you have to go now for?" Timmy asked her. "I don't know. Something just feels right about it. I can't explain it. Maybe it's because I miss my family and I see the boys getting to have all of the fun with them and I want to do that. We never got to have fun before I came here. They were always to worried about me getting hurt or someone taking me" Mary Beth explained. "Yeah that happened after you got here by your crazy uncle. " Timmy said reminding her. Mary Beth giggled a bit then said "Yeah but if those crazy guys hadn't kidnapped me or my uncle hadn't been so crazy then I wouldn't have been able to come here and have you as my brother" Mary Beth said punching him in the arm. Timmy rubbed the spot where she had just hit him. " You punch like a girl" He said teasing her before she tackled him to the ground. "Punch like a girl do I, well I will show you" She yelled playing with Timmy. Mark and Annalease ran to his room after hearing those two fighting. Tornado had already beat them in there, this time holding Mary Beth up by her pants off of Timmy. Both of them laughing like crazy. "Who got their butt handed to them by a mutt now?" Timmy asked a dangling Mary Beth. Timmy rubbed Tornados head apologizing for calling him a mutt. Annalease and Mark came inside and saw Mary Beth dangling. They all started to laugh as Tornado dropped the Squirming little runt to the floor then licked her right across the face. "YUCK TORNADO, YOU LICK YOUR BUTT WITH THAT TONGUE" Mary Beth yelled running to the bathroom to wash her face heaving the entire way. Mark, Annalease and Timmy laughed so hard at that silly girl. Then it was Timmy's turn for Tornados payback from timmy calling him a mutt. While Timmy was rolling on the floor laughing, Tornado walked over to him and as he rolled to face tornado all Tommy could see was Tornados tongue licking him all across the face. "YUCK TORNADO, MY MOUTH WAS OPEN!" Timmy yelled on his way to the bathroom to now wash his face and brush his teeth yet again.

Annalease and Mark laughed so hard. Tornado walked out of the room satisfied that he got both kids. Annalease remembered she needed to relieve Annabelle after she had sent her up to relieve the vet from feeding the newborns. "I have to relieve Annabelle and go feed the two little ones" Annalease explained. Mark nodded as they walked up to their floor.

Annalease walked in to the wolf room. Annabelle was sitting on the floor holding the little dragon in her lap with Fidget looking right over top of her and the baby. "Talk about guard dog, we have a guard dragon. I cannot move without Fidget here." Annabelle said laughing. "Do you blame him? His entire family was taken right in front of him and the only one we have found is this little baby" Annalease said picking up the baby dragon. Fidget relaxed and laid down when he saw that Annalease had his baby brother. "Now would you look at that little rascal now" Annabelle said pointing to Fidget. Annaleas rubbed fidgets head. "He just don't trust you yet because he doesn't know you. Fidget she won't hurt the baby I promise" Annalease linked the dragon. Fidget got up and went and licked Annabelle across the face. "EWWW! GROSS!!!" Annabelle yelled as she ran out of the room to the bathroom. Annalease looked at Tornado and laughed. "You are something else Tornado " she told him as she began to feed the dragon.

There was a small knock on the door and Mary Beth walked in. "Can I help?" She asked. "Most certainly. You can feed the pup while I finish up with this little guy" Annalease told her explaining how to feed the pup and giving her as bottle. "He must be hungry" Mary Beth said as the pup took the bottle like it was starving. "That is a she my dear" Annalease said giggling. Mary Beth quickly flipped the pup to check. "Awww, we have another girl, can I name her please?" Mary Beth begged. "I don't see why not. Then we can let Timmy name the dragon" Annalease said. "I think her name should be Mary Grace" Mary Beth said. Annalease looked at her daughter feeding the pup. "Mary Grace it is then" Annalease said smiling at her. Tornado walked over to Mary Beth. Mary Beth saw him and said "Oh I don't think so mister,not again." She told him laughing. He just laid down beside her putting his head on her lap next to the pup that was eating. "Annabelle just complained that fidget was a watch dragon over this one, I think Tornado will be the guard for little Mary Grace there" Annalease said watching Tornado watch the pups every move. "Are you going to be sad or mad at me if I go Mom?" Mary Beth asked. Annalease thought for a moment on the best way to answer. "Yes honey, of course I will be sad, but never in a million years will I be mad at you. You deserve the chance to go have fun with your family. That is why when I adopted you we always made it a point to let you know why we did that. It was to keep you safe and protected. After you came here when you escaped from the kidnappers, you were so scared but yet you clung to me like your life depended on it. And well the guys all fell in love with you arguing over who was going to carry you. Of course John and Mark won that contest" Annalease said laughing remembering those two even arguing over her. "But I'll be sad only because I will miss you. But you better link me every day, and come back at least every week so we can see you. " Annalease told her picking her up and putting her and the pup in her lap. "You may not be born from me, but you Mary Beth are just as much my daughter as the others." Annalease told her hugging her tight. "I know Mom. I love you too. Thank you" She said. They both finished up the feeding and Annalease linked Christie to let her know it was her turn next. Annalease went and tucked the pup and dragon next to Kiarra then she went to tuck Mary Beth and Timmy into bed. "Can I sleep in the floor in Timmys room?' Mary Beth asked. Annalease nodded. Mary Beth ran to get her blanket and pillow as Annalease went into Timmy's room. "Are you ok now Timmy?" Annalease asked. "It's not fair mom. Why does she have to go now of all times. Helena Grace just left us and isn't coming back, now Mary Beth. What happens iff she doesn't come back" Timmy asked worried. "Timmy she will be back. Think of it like she is just taking a trip on vacation. That's about what it will be. She won't be gone forever like Helena Grace. Her home will always be here. I promise you this, if she isn't back in a week at least to visit we will go to her" Annalease said. Timmy looked up at her "Promise?" He asked. "I promise Timmy" She said as he hugged her and Mary Beth came running into the room. "I'm crashing in your room tonight! Mom already said I could!" Mary Beth teased him. "Now my room is gonna smell girly" Timmy complained. "But that's ok. I'll deal with it since you are leaving. Here you can have the bed." Timmy said hopping onto the floor switching with Mary Beth. "But don't drool on it" Timmy told her. Annalease laughed as she told the two good night. She still had some work to do. She flipped the light off and let them have their sleepover. Annalease knew they were not going to sleep anytime soon. She linked Lorraine and asked her to take the two some snacks and Mary Beth her cup knowing she forgot it.
