Chapter Five

2087 Words
Saige My heart nearly beat out of my chest. Sure, there was a physical attraction between Hunter and me, but there was no denying the fact he was so cocky that our physical attraction was blanketed under darkness. I would never be able to forgive him for running that perfectly nice guy off who I knew was about to ask me to the dance. I would never be able to forgive him for treating me like I was his property. No one owned me! I'm the person that gets to decide who I want to spend my time with. Hunter certainly wasn't going to make that choice for me. Hunter was demanding, practically forcing me to go to this dance with him, and for what? Because he saw something in me. We both knew that it was lust, nothing more. I had no intentions of wasting my time with someone who only wanted to get into my pants. The only man that would get that privilege would be the man that pledged himself to me as I did to him, and only when we became fully mated would I offer that part of myself. Hunter seemed hell-bent that I would give it up to him, but he didn't know me well enough to be making that sort of claim. I began to weigh my options. If I didn't go to this dance with Hunter, it would be like spitting in his face, but not just him, the king himself. Did I really want to spend the rest of my time here in agony? Deciding that it wasn't worth it, I said, "I'll attend this dance with you, but I don't need any lessons. If you are asking me, then we do this my way. If you don't want me being myself, you should probably find someone else to go with you." He let out a menacing growl that instantly made me submit to him. I hated that his dominant side brought this frail, weak girl out of me when I should be defending myself against him. "Trust me, you need lessons. You aren't going to smart off to me in the king's presence. I need you to act like a submissive little princess we both know you can be." The next words that left my mouth were instinctual, not much thought behind them. "Go to hell, Hunter." I didn't even think before my mouth started moving. Hunter picked me up and threw me back onto my bed. He quickly pulled off his tie surrounding his neck and tied my hands to the bed. If only I knew how to tap into my abilities, I could easily get out of this, but he must know that about me. As much as I didn't want to admit it, I was at his mercy now. "Such a sweet little thing, with such a dirty mouth. No man will respect you around here as long as you continue to speak that way. How about we teach you other things you may be good for?" I tried to squirm my way out of the tie strapping my hands, but it was no use. Hunter was on top of the bed and in between my legs before I could make one small move. "Please, Hunter, don't…." "Don't, what?" I'm not one for begging, but the time I've spent refraining from every temptation wouldn't go to waste. This is the one thing I had to offer my mate that I refused to let another man have so freely. "Do this?" Hunter asked as he tightly wrapped one hand around my throat and began kissing the exposed skin surrounding my neck. "You smell divine, princess. I bet it's even better between those untouched legs of yours." Once he got close enough, I kneed him right between his legs. Hunter fell back off the bed as I raced to get the tie loose, but Hunter had recovered quickly and pounced on top of me. I've never been so terrified in my life. His wolf was showing with striking black dark eyes. Dark black hair covered his arms, and I could see his sharp claws digging into my mattress. The only thing that didn't seem to change was his face. It was still flawless as ever, which helped a little, but not by much. "You are going to f*****g pay for that!" Hunter untied me and threw me over his broad shoulders, leading us out of my dorm. Lauren's eyes were on us the instant she saw, but even she couldn't stop someone as powerful as Hunter Wade. "Don't expect Saige back for the remainder of the weekend. She will return when I deem it necessary." Hot tears ran down my face as I realized what this meant. Hunter was on his way back to his dorm. I knew this because we were heading toward the opposite sides of the academy, where the men lived. By the time he reached his dorm, I was shaking. Hunter brought me back here to take the only thing I had left of myself, the one thing I held on so tight for all these years. While everyone else was out partying and hooking up, I was at home reading and preparing for this academy. Two of his friends smirked when they saw us together, leading toward Hunter's bedroom. Once inside, he stuffed me inside a small cage that was right at the end of his bed. "Being in here may teach you some manners, after all, you little brat! Ungrateful as hell!" "What is this?" Hunter smiled and nodded. It was nice to see that he had completely returned to normal, not that I was staring at him in that light. "Go ahead and touch the bars, Saige. Try to set yourself free. You will be in here all weekend long with nowhere to go. The only way you get out of there is to catch on quickly to how to summon your wolf or beg for my forgiveness." I'll be damned if I'm doing either! I ran over to the door and touched my hands to the bars to reach for the lock. Instantly, I was shocked backward, my back hitting the other side of the bars that luckily didn't have the same shock. Still, I whimpered. My back was on fire. There was no doubt in my mind that I had bruised the hell out of it. When my face met Hunter's, he was smiling. "See? What did I tell you? There are only two ways out of this cage. So, if you want to get out anytime soon, you should probably begin tapping into your abilities. Either that or you better be working on a damn good apology for kneeing me in the nuts." He started to walk out of his door, but I stopped him, pleading for him not to leave me alone. "Where are you going? I thought you were supposed to take me to this dance with you!" "Ha! Yeah, right! After the s**t you pulled, you're lucky I don't get you expelled from here. Consider yourself lucky, princess. Don't you worry that pretty little head of yours, I'll find someone that will be a decent fit for my uncle." "Like who?" I asked while rolling my eyes. "Lauren, perhaps. I don't particularly like the girl, but she knows how to work that mouth of hers. I could make her come back here with me and force you to watch as I f**k her right in front of you. That sounds like a plan to me." Ew! He was more of a pig than I thought! "You're disgusting! If you want to openly have your d**k sucked by every woman in this school, so be it. I'm not like you. I don't have to open my legs to every guy just for a little attention." When he licked his lips, it stirred something inside of me that I was unfamiliar with. I didn't like it one bit. "Is that right? Are you saving yourself for something in particular, princess?" "More like someone, my mate. It may sound absurd to you, but I don't care. I've taken very good care of my untouched body, able to offer it to my mate once I find him. So, to answer your question, it makes no difference if you want to f**k Lauren in front of me. You are wrong if you think that will stir some deep, dark jealousy inside me. I have no interest in you, Hunter Wade. The sooner you realize that, the better it will be for both of us." I half expected another dark reaction from him, but instead of that anger, his lips curled. Hunter was laughing at me as if my virginity didn't mean anything. I know that not all male werewolves were like him. There were some out there that couldn't wait to find their mate and begin their lives together. Hunter was only different because he had been handed everything his entire life. Why would he want a mate when he lives the extravagant life he does? Someone like him couldn't possibly understand the meaning of a mating bond. Hunter walked over next to the cage, keeping only a little distance from me so that he didn't get shocked himself. "Think what you want of me, princess. I would never take your virginity unless you willingly gave it to me. As much as I would love to be between those legs of yours, I'm not a forceful man. I'm sure you will meet plenty of that kind here, but not me. I'm an asshole, something I've never denied, but I'm not a monster. Yeah, it's true that I'm drawn to you over anyone else in this damn school. Believe it or not, you will offer that virginity up to me because when it comes down to it, you're like every other female werewolf, unable to control their urges." "I don't even know what you're talking about. Urges? What urges?" He stared at me in disbelief and shock before his lips began moving again. "You know. It's sort of like the feeling you get when you touch yourself, but ten times stronger and better." "Oh," I blushed. "Wait a minute. Have you never touched yourself before, Saige?" Honestly, I had no intention of answering his question. "I'm not going to answer that. Whatever has or has not been done to my body is none of your business! You can save yourself the trouble and let me go now. Find someone else to pester all season. All I want is to be able to learn my abilities and grow here, not that you care." There was something different in Hunter's eyes when I finally decided to look at him. Not only was that lust there that I've seen before, but something much darker. "You astound me, Saige Briley. Do you have any idea how rare it is to find a female werewolf of your age that is not just a virgin but a completely untouched virgin even by her own hand? I've f****d many female werewolves, and I'll tell you right now that it's rarer than you realize. If any male in this school finds that out, they will all flock to you, looking to get just that from you." "You mean like you?" He groaned and rolled his eyes. "I've got to go. Sit in here like the good little girl I know you can be, and I'll be back in a few hours." He opened his door but turned around before closing it. "And just so you know, you're my property now, princess. No other man will speak with you, let alone put his hands on you." "I'm not your f*****g property! There is only one way to make me property to someone, and you will not touch me!" "You mean mark you? Don't be stupid. My mark is saved for my mate, much later in life, when I'm ready. But you won't need a mark when I'm done with you to make every guy here run in the other direction. I'll make sure of it." Hunter slammed the door, leaving me alone in his dark, cold room. I've never really hated anyone in my life, but I despised that man, truly! I'll find my way out of here and away from him. If I don't, I might as well kiss everything I've worked so hard for goodbye.
