I got back to the king's chambers just in time to see Derrick standing to go on an errand that his father had sent him.
“How is Devon doing?” The Luna asked me as soon as she saw me walk in.
“He is fine, he fell asleep almost immediately,” I said to her with a smile, and she heaved a deep sigh of relief.
While I spoke I couldn't help but notice Denver's sexy dark demeanor toward me. But I pretended not to know he existed as I tried focusing my attention on the Luna, even though it was f*****g hard.
