Clair I lay on the sofa like a starving child scrolling through my phone and constantly looking at the door. I was waiting to hear the sound of the doorbell from the delivery person but fifteen minutes felt like forever. I would jump from the sofa at the slightest noise and open the door to check if someone was about to ring the doorbell but when I opened the door, it showed no sign of a person. This is the longest fifteen minutes of my life! I didn’t even realise I was starving until Blaze left. I have never been this hungry, except when I was still at the orphanage where hunger was my regular visitor.
