AMELIA POV.
Ryker and I locked eyes. I could see the pain there due to him being able to feel Malia’s conflicting feelings and fears. I could see that it was starting to overwhelm him, so I stepped closer and bent down on my one knee in front of them. Malia was still sobbing on his lap, head against his shoulder and it broke my heart of what she must be going through, but I wanted her to know that she was not going to be alone. I looked back behind me where Lyker stood with my mother in his arms. She looked like she was going to burst out in tears at the site before her, so I turned back to my sister and reached out to lay my hand onto her shoulder.
Malia’s head immediately snapped to mine at the touch and fresh tears welled up in her eyes. “Amelia, W-what am I g-going to do?” She sobbed
