In the distance she saw a grouping of offices with large windows providing unobstructed views of the entire warehouse. The sound of their footsteps echoed around them and the unpleasant odor of gas and oil filled Vickers nostrils making her already tense stomach want to rebel. A dark skinned man appeared from the interior of the office exiting through a side door. He wore a shoulder holster over a vest obviously part of a three-piece suit. The gun in the holster looked more like a cannon than small arms. Vickers put away her comparative peashooter and swallowed hard. She was definitely out gunned. The man’s shiny black hair was slicked back on his oval shaped head and a cigarette dangling from his lips. “You Vickers?” he asked. Again she nodded. The right side of his small mouth curled
