Chapter Twenty-One
DECADES OF ROCK took up all of Lansing Park with four stages set up in different areas. There would be bands playing music from the fifties all the way through the eighties, from metal bands to boy bands. Whatever a person’s taste, they would find something to dance to that night. There were also plenty of dark corners for those moments when the gyrating dance moves motivated couples to further their night’s adventures. People brought chairs or blankets to sit on and coolers filled with as much beer as they could stuff inside. For those who had not planned ahead, there were plenty of booths set up that sold food and alcohol to make it through the night so as not to be left out of the drunken party.
